  1. Week 4 Game Summaries

Florida came to Tennessee and got blown out 48-7. This win is huge for Tennessee front of couple top star recruits. Nick stephens threw for 307 yards with 5 TD and an INT on 19 for 25 passing. Montario Hardesty adds with 138 on the ground with 26 attempts. The D is really the important part of this team, having 4 sacks on Tim Tebow and a pick 6 by Eric Berry. Next, Tenn travel to Auburn to face the tough tigers.

WOW! What a game! LSU rolled into this game taking Auburn very lightly and almost payed dearly for it. LSU picked a bad week to try out a new Defense. But LSU pulls off the win 31-26 as time ran out on Auburn's final drive. At the start of the 4th Q, LSU was ahead 17-10, then the following occurred.
    5:26 FG Auburn
    1:35 TD LSU
    1:12 TD LSU
0:45 TD Auburn on 80 yard catch
0:26 LSU fumbles while running out the clock on their own 40
0:00 Auburn runs out of time on LSU's 22 yard line.

    QB Jefferson played terribly 12-21 168, 1TD 3INT
    Holliday 22 att., 204 yds and 3 td's
    Lafell 5 rec. 76 yds, 1 TD

The bye week was just what the doctor ordered after playing terribly against Mizzu, Miami traveled to face TAMU infront of the 12 man at Kyle field. The Canes started quickly and didnt let up. Marve connected on a 12 yd td pass to Shields and an 18 yarder to Hankerson in the first qtr. Marve finished 16-22 for 176 2 tds and 0 ints. The ground game churned away on the muddy turf as Miami carried 43 times for 162 and 2 tds, leading the way was "Coop" with 95 yds and a td on 24 carries and Thomas who had 10 carries for 41 yds and a td. The play of the game came on the defensive side of the ball though, TAMU was marching late in the half when a pass was thrown late to Goodson on the outside, Lavon Ponder the impact SS tipped the pass to himself and raced 100 yds the other direction for the TD. He also had 4 tackles for loss and a sack in the game.

    T.O.P. Miami 16:19 TAMU 7:45

Maryland knocks off #15 West Virginia. This game started out close. West Virginia is a tough team to defend against. Seems like every play is some sort of option run with the occasional pass by Pat White. I was able to hurt both Pat White and Noel Devine, but that didn't happen until I had the game in hand. If you end up having to play West Virginia, be ready for non stop option plays. Maryland will look to go in to Clemson next week to try and improve to 4-1 on the season.

    Mizzou Upset By Gamecocks

"The Zou" Faurot Field, Columbia, MO.

In in the course of one week the Mizzouri Tigers went from #7 in the nation to #4 and now with an upset loss to #16 South Carolina, the Tigers will be luckey to stay in the top 20. South Carolina defeated the Tigers 35-28 with some stellar defensive calls and many, many, mistakes by Mizzou, especially quarter back Chase Daniels.

The Gamecocks came ready to play and got up 7-0 early. By the half we were all tied up but Mizzou was having to work for everything they got. On the flip side, the great defense that shut down USC just a week ago, didn't show up until the 4th quarter and by then it was too late.

"We played so sloppy tonight" said Coach PK. "My hat goes off to Coach Carter. We were out of rythem all night and it showed in every phase of the game. We had our chances but we stunk it up out there. Coach Carter took advantage of our turnovers, had some great calls, and deserved to win today."

    Week Four - #16 South Carolina @ #4 Missouri

It was, there was even a 3rd down stop, where he ran with his fullback and I got him behind the line and A HORRIBLE spot gave him the first down!!! We were both talking about it when it happened...It bad...that cost me over a minute at the end.

Doesn't matter though, I just made some bad plays and Carter cashed in on them. He's a good guy and a SIM player in my book. He made some great plays too.

    Peace,

Texas Tech rebounded from a tuff loss and goes into Arizona St. and destroys them 56-10. Tech's defense was stout as it held ASU to no offensive touchdowns and ASU had no answer for Crabtree as he had over 250 yards through the air on 9 grabs, by far his best game of the season. A very solid win heading into the bye week.

  15. Thanks for the welcome everyone. It was a close game, and I cashed in and held his offense in check when it mattered. You got unlucky with the stop you actually got, but they gave me the first. GG nonethless.
