Week 4 Giants/Bears Giants 31 Bears 17 The Giants won their first game of the year, but it came at a high price, as they lost Keith Bulluck late in the game for 3 weeks. The Bears took the lead in the first quarter on a nifty 7 yard run by Matt Forte, but it was the Giants rushing attack that proved to be superior. Bruiser Brandon Jacobs ran for 108 yards on 23 carries and, while he did not get into the end zone, he opened the door for change of pace back Ahmad Bradshaw to score. Bradshaw had scored of 49 yards (screen pass) and 53 yards (draw play up the middle.) Eli Manning played very well and had great chemistry with Travis Beckum. Beckum, the Giants slot receiver, had 3 catches for 130 yards and a TD. He was left open as the Bears concentrated on stopping Steve Smith, who had a catch and 9 yards. Zak DeOssie had a big INT in the Giants red zone and returned it for a 75 yard score, putting the game away. The Giants played very well, and the 1,2 punch of Jacobs and Bradshaw was great and it led the Giants to victory!
