Week #4 GOTW: UNLV vs. SDSU San Diego State (OnIowa) vs. UNLV (D-5) SDSU and UNLV will matched up in the Z2H first user vs. user game. SDSU will look to stay undefeated and get the bad taste out of there mouth from a blowout UNLV win last year, the only blemish on a otherwise perfect season. UNLV looks to position its self for another Mountain West run behind a new offense that’s rolling over opponents. San Diego State After a great win against the Pac-10’s Stanford Cardinal, SDSU returns to MWC play when the Aztecs host conference rival UNLV this week. SDSU was embarrassed by UNLV last year in a 38-10 defeat that ended SDSU bid for a perfect season. Look for HB Walter Kazee to have a big day, SDSU is a run first offense, and Kazee is the motor that keeps the engine running, if Kazee has a big day look for an easy SDSU win. UNLV New Offense, no problem. In a surprise move Coach D-5 shifted from the I-form based option attack that was successful last season for the Rebels, to a more fleXbox One option attack with new QB Mike Clausen. The result has stayed the same as the Rebels have picked up the offense quickly and are striding after an opening week lost to UCLA. In a defeat of the Washington Huskies, UNLV gained over 300yds rushing lead by QB Mike Clausen 139yds. It will be a long day for SDSU if their defense has trouble staying with its keys to stop this fleXbox One attack. What to Watch For: Aztecs Defense vs. Rebels FleXbox One Attack UNLV QB Mike Clausen has picked up the FleXbox One offense quickly and is the second leading rusher in the Mountain West. After a dominate effort against Air Force, can the Aztecs stay within themselves and counter another option based offense? Rebels 3-4 vs. Aztecs HB Walter Kazee The Aztec offense is very simple… Hand the ball to HB Kazee. The leading rusher in the Mountain West Kazee has shredded defenses all season and will look to continue this trend. Can the Rebels 3-4 defensive alignment hold up against a pro-style power running game? OutcomeSDSU 35 UNLV 34 It should be a fairly quick game as both teams love to run the ball, SDSU will make the one stop needed to get win, and stay undefeated. Both teams will rack up the rushing yards but it will be SDSU’s passing game that will be the difference.
