Turn TCS on bro. If you can't control the car with TCS on I'll give you a medal.

Dropping the differential down to like 5% on acceleration makes a huge difference too. It's helped me keep the thing straight.....I think haha.

Got the car upgraded and ran some practice laps last night. I intentionally hit every piece of curb on the track and didn't flip once. I'm sure if there's a way to flip here, I'll find it. I'll be even more rusty than usual Monday night. I'll be out of town for a wedding and won't get back until late Sunday, so the 5-10 laps I ran last night + whatever I can fit in between work and the race on Monday will be it for me.

I am really really sorry Helli but im finished with Tradition. I have already put with the management doing nothing about the Blaza stupidity then I had the stupid duped statement from Ryno who kicks up a storm then doesnt support the racing on his own site by doing 1 race then doesnt turn up or even bother to let anyone know, then some clever dick head decides to mess with a paid for profile. The morales here have really sunk from a great site to a stupid one over the last year or so.

Good luck to all drivers here for the rest of the season in a great well ran series.

Del, I'm not sure who messed your profile... first of all. Second, I stopped racing because I'm coaching my kids in little league sports right now. Today could be my last day coaching then I will have more time to continue. Contrary to your assertion, I did let Hellisan know about it far in advance of race 2. Lastly, neither I nor the site had anything to do with your run in with Blaza. That's between you two. If you want to lump that in with your tirade that is on you.

I will fix your username now and I apologize from a site standpoint for whoever did that, but please don't be directing your attacks at me.

Ryno you should be able to see who did the name change being the owner of the site, right? Sorry I am not forum saavy with that like some I know.

I know my opinions may not matter bit beimg a foundation member snd a large apparrel supporter I wouldn't like it if someone did that to me and not face some discipline.

If you watch the video above, it looks like Del's putting down a 1:33??? with his 640 PI car.

I on the other hand have a PI increase to 675 and the best I've done is 1:35......and it was CLEAN!!! Hope that helps.

I can assure you one thing, even if your times are way off, you'll get a lot better and learn some stuff by just participating. You can learn a lot when there's no restarts and you gotta drive for 25 laps. I've put down my best times in these races. Granted I still have a long way to go.

So I put in a bunch of practice laps this morning for this week and my best time was a 1:35 (clean!) but I'm still kinda lost with my tune. My lines have gotten much better and I think that's where I'm shaving time. I had a couple questions hopefully somebody could help with.

1 - I'm getting a bunch of mid exit oversteer. Is there something I should consider with my tune to minimize this? Or is it likely I'm just getting on the gas too hard?

2 - Whenever I hit the curbs, I pretty much lose all traction. I noticed in Del's video above, that's not the case. (I assume it's a front wheel drive escort though). Is the best way to offset this by softening my bump setting?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dammit! I was hoping to give you a bit more competition this week. Hope you get it straightened out Bond. Mine crashed about a month ago and I picked up a new one (slim) at target while getting a $50 gift card. Not a bad deal. Not sure if there will be black friday discounts on them either.

I'm hoping mine is just the power cord. The light on the brick won't turn on. I'm going to my Dad's on Tuesday so I'm going to take his and see if it'll work.

If I race, do I have to take an unclaimed car? Id really like to run a Toyota. And last night and today ive been practicing on manual, and I can tell a nice difference in speeds. Just having some gearing issues on some corners.

My Escort is AWD. Yes my bump settings are low but they work in relation to all your suspension. For example harder rear springs can give you more turn in, diff settings can also be key but obviously an AWD will pull through the corners and if I accelerated too hard all I would get is a 4 wheel drift because both axles drive. If your in a rear wheel drive car the front axle obviously doesn't drive so it will spin or slide from the rear etc etc. You can run low bumps as long as your whole suspension is set up for that to work because all those settings obviously work in relation to each other and a drastic change to 1 of them can upset others etc. I will gladly have a look at it for you if you would like? I cant guarantee I could do it in time for this weeks race but I would do it as soon as I could for you.

You can run the Toyota GT-Four. Tune it to S650 per the rules and regulations thread. All the information is there.
