The Cleveland Browns held on for the win against the Tennessee Titans, despite a late Titans surge that put the Browns behind in the final minutes of the game.

In each of the first two quarters, the Cleveland offense benefited from roughing the passer calls against former Brown Kamerion Wimbley. Each of the calls came on 3rd down plays, both of which resulted in incomplete passes, in which the Browns would have been held to a field goal attempt. The Browns were able to capitalize on the late hit calls on Wimbley, and the resulting 1st downs that kept the drives going, and produce a touchdown on each drive. That allowed the Browns to take a 14-7 lead into the half.

The 4th quarter would see each team suffer a fumble by their star halfback that really hurt their respective teams.

First; with Cleveland leading 24-14, and their offense driving towards midfield, Browns halfback Trent Richardson had the ball knocked out on a vicious hit. Titans safety Michael Griffen would scoop up the loose ball and take it 41 yards for the touchdown, to cut the Browns lead to 24-21 with just under four and a half minutes to play. The Titans defense would hold the Browns to a 3 and out and score quickly on a 60 yard touchdown pass to Nate Washington to take a late 28-24 lead.

The Browns offense would answer right back to take a 31-28 lead with just over a minute left, on a 4th down touchdown pass to Travis Benjamin. On the first play of the ensuing drive, Titans halfback Chris Johnson would cough up a fumble to essentially end any chance of another Titans comeback.

Browns quarterback Matt Schaub would end the game with nearly 300 yards in the air and 5 touchdown passes, which earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors in week 4.

The win improves the Browns to 3-1 and keeps them on pace with the Bengals and Ravens in the AFC North. The Browns will host Doug and his Indianapolis Colts (3-1) in week 5, which is a much anticipated first matchup between these two coaches in this release of Madden.
