Freshman shine again as Cowboys go into to Happy Valley and make the Penn State hopeful not so "Happy" 41-20

"once again my young team exceed expectations, dualing the favourite Nittany Lions the entire game. Aaron [Rogers] played a fantastic centerfield for us this after noon picking off both passes, Markelle Martin played another solid game showing the young kids how its done once again with his Interception. The offense was Lead by Senior Kendall Hunter who racked up over 100 yards and Freshman Tightend Justice who had over 50 yarads recieving. Kalvin Culp played the 2nd half and was very successful in moving the chains and adapting to the speed of the Penn State defense. Once again we decided to start 8 freshman on defense, and they played exceptionallly well, giving up only two touchdowns. " - Coach Huronia

    Key Stats:

    QB Culp 9/15 115 1 td

RB Kendall Hunter 110 yards on 23 carries, 1 td

TE Matt Justice 56 yards on 4 catches, 1 td

DE Justin Ramirez 3 tackles 2 tfl, 1 sack

SS Aaron Rogers 4 tackles ,2 ints

    Recruting Trail

Oklahoma State was able to reel in their #1 target this offseason, five stardefensive tackle Khalid Owens from Sun Cook, New Hampshire.

"Khalid is extremely polished as a player at this point, we decided with Ryan [Campbell] and Jamal [Ryan] both on campus and contributing this season inside for us that it would be extremely important for us to add to our mix inside and bring in a guy with a different skill set. Khalid will play from day one, and we expect him to fully challenge both Ryan and Jamal for time inside, Khalid has a motor that always runs hot and an extremely strong upper body. Khalid also offers schematic flexibility as we believe he can play both the 1 technique, 3 technique in our 43 defense and even play the 5 technique in our 30 front"
    - Coach Huronia

Gabbert Has A Perfect Game in Missouri Victory

Missouri didn't wait long to take the lead in this one. Washington took control of the ground game rushing in for a 24 yard TD run just over a minute into the game. Washington has suffered from many injury problems since last season and had been struggling to find his game. Washington rushed for 174 yards on 31 attempts and 3 TD even with being taken out of the game early as Missouri had a commanding lead after 3 quarters.

Central Michigan scored a 32 yard TD late in the first quarter to get back within two scores but thats as close as they would get. Missouris passing game was perfect once agian. Gabbert completed 9 of 9 for 187 yards and 2 TDs giving him a ridiculous passing rating of 347.8. Backup QB Costello came into the 4th quarter and kept the teams passing stats perfect going 2 for 2 to complete a couple 3rd down conversions.

The Tigers defence had another dominating performance. The team caused 3 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and a late fumbled off the kickoff returned for a TD to put the icing on the cake. The team also combined for 8 sacks on the game. They held CMU to only 178 total yards of offence in their dominating 62-7 win.

Player of the game: SR. HB Derrick Washington - 31 Car, 174 Yds, 3 TD

I really like your write ups man! Did you know that you can embed the videos so people don't have to click on the links?

After you make your video, and you are viewing it there is a little code under the description that you can copy that is labeled "embed". Copy and paste that here, and then put [youtube][\youtube] around it.
