    Week 4: Seattle (20) Colts (31)

The Colts narrowly escape their first defeat once again at the hands of a NFC West opponent this week.

The game started with a 4 minute drive by the Colts that ended in a field goal as their offense stalled in the red zone. Unfortunately the Seahawks forgot how to play offense for most of the first half as they were only had 50 or so yards going into the last drive of the half. The Colts were able to take advantage of this and scored another TD to make it a 6-10 game, but the Seahawks awoke on the last drive of the half as Julius Jones ran in a 4 yard toss to take the lead going into the half.

Will Hasselbeck be able to bounce back from a less than average start to the season?

The Seahawks came out firing in the second half as they took the opening drive in for a touchdown with the Edge capping off the drive on a 1 yard run. The Colts weren't done yet though as Donald Brown broke off a huge screen for a 70 yard TD. After a three and out by the Seahawks Donald Brown once again took it to the house after breaking two tackles and outrunning the rest of the Seahawks defense for a 70 yard score. With the score at 20-24 the Seahawks were devastated as their lead was gone in a heartbeat. On the deciding drive of the game Hasselbeck overthrows Deon Branch on a post and was picked off by Bob Sanders. With 1:30 left in the quarter Peyton play actioned out of their goal line offense and barely wedged the ball into Dallas Clark's hands to seal the game.

The real story of the game was how effective the Seahawks defense was playing picking off Peyton four times. Two which came in the endzone not allowing even a field goal. Maybe this was the spark that the Seahawks needed to get their offense going for the rest of the season. We'll have to wait and see.

I need to learn how to add pictures like you and Nate do. That would add some more spice to my articles.

Awesome write up, good pics. Great game, NFC West may be a powerhouse division as the season gets rolling. Seahawks will be a threat. We stole that game, we played like crap!
