The Houston Texans would even up their record at 2-2 after a big road win in Tennessee, outlasting the hometown Titans 21-17. The difference in the game would turn out to be the Texans 3 interceptions, one of which was returned 73 yards for a TD by LB Brian Cushing for the first points in the game. Arian foster would break the century mark in the game, rushing for 112 yards ,including a breakaway 51 yard scamper that would put Houston up by 7 heading into halftime. That is until Jake Locker would connect on an 81 yard strike to Nate Washington over some terrible coverage, tying the game 14-14 at the half. Ben Tate would add a short TD in the second half and that would prove to be enough as Tennessee would only put 3 points on the board in the second half. Kareem Jackson would prove to be the hero, as his final drive killing interception would effectively end the game late in the 4th.
