The Skins would win a pretty easy game verus the Tampa Bay Bucs 42-10. Even without Portis, the Skins would put up over 150 yards with Warrick Dunn and Marcus Mason. Campbell would air it out for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns, with two to Devin Thomas.

FOXBORO, MA - The Ravens travelled north to the Big Razor to face the Patriots. The goal of the team was to stop leading WR Wes Welker, who has proven to be a major force for this Pats team. The game was tight early, but several key mistakes by the Pats gave the Ravens room to blow things open in the 2nd half. Early on, things were played very close. The Ravens and Patriots each came up with interceptions to start off a scoreless first quarter. The Ravens got on the board first. After a long reception by Todd Heap set them up with good field position, Ray Rice capped the drive with a 7 yard sprint. Wes Welker's big kick return put the Pats in good position on their next drive. Brady would be efficient in the 2 minute drill, but the Raven defense would snuff out a screen to force a Gostkowski FG. At the half, we had a 7-3 ball game.

Both teams exchanged 3rd quarter punts until Ed Reed forced a big turnover to stop a Patriot drive. The Ravens would push the ball downfield and get another TD run from Rice for a 14-3 lead. Towards the end of the 3rd quarter, the wheels would start coming off the Patriot wagon. They would attempt a fake punt on a 4th down but would come up short. The Ravens rallied down the field. Joe Flacco was hit on a pass attempt but got enough on the ball for Derrick Mason to make a leaping catch in the endzone. The Pats failed again to convert a 3rd down, and the Ravens made another long drive capped off by Willis McGahee. The final nail in the coffin would be Fabian Washington's INT return of a Tom Brady pass. Brady finished 21-43 for only 139 yards with 3 INTs. Wes Welker was held in relative check, catching 7 for 65. For Baltimore, Ray Rice had 76 yards on 20 carries with 2 TDs. Mason had 4 grabs and a TD in the 38-3 win. New England was held to converting only 3 of 14 3rd downs.

49ers 20 Rams 17. Niners hosted the Rams at candlestick on a stormy night. Niners again started out sluggish on offense but received a big lift on a devastating hit by T.Spikes on the punt return causing a fumble that was return by Micheal Lewis for the score. Niners then began to gain some momenteum on the ground to capitalize for two more scores a td and fg. Several times the offense was stop inches away from a first down and in one instance inches a way from a TD.

2nd half was all Rams as they fought hard to get back into the game cutting the lead down to 3 in the 4th but 3 defensive stands by the 49ers cause the Rams offense to stall and end 3 potential drives for the go ahead score or tying score.

    Vikes vs Pack

Played the game hella late and didn't write down stats (sorry).

Vikings win a crazy game where they dominated early, only to see the packers recover 2 onsides kicks in the 4th qtr, and recover a fumble on another kickoff scoring 28 points in the 4th qtr making this game way closer than it shoould have been.

Vikings hold on for the win behind 4 Farve TD passes to 4 different receivers. Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin both have monster games as the passing offense picks up the slack for the rushing game that is definitely missing the game controlling talents of Adrian Peterson, out 6 more weeks with a herniated disk.

    Bills @ Dolphins

The 2 AFC east undefeated teams met in Miami and Trent Edwards was cooked well in this game under the Miami Heat from the Defense.

Ted Ginn provided the start on a 72 yard punt return in the 2nd qtr. Ronnie Brown had his way in the 2nd half and ran for over 125 yards and a score.

Bills could not get anything going till the 4th qtr and as Edwards tries to force the ball LB Anderson picks him off for the 4th time and takes it to the house for 6. Miami kept the Bills scoreless and much of the credit goes to the Defensive line who pressured Edwards and stuffed the run game when needed.

    Final
    Bills 0
    Dolphins 28

Miami moves to 4-0 heading into the Bye week.

Great Game Polo, I'm sure you’re looking for blood in the rematch..

    Bengals @ Browns

This game was just ugly for 1st 3 qrts neither team could do much of anything as the score would be 3-3. 4th qrt would a different story cb surtain would give the browns the lead with a pic 6. bengals would answer right back as qb palmer hits ochocinco for the td. 10-10 Lb Rivers would then get the int and return it for the td. 17-10 K Graham would give the bengals a 10 point lead with a fg. 20-10 Brown come roaring right back as qb quinn would hit massaqui for th td. 20-17 Bengals would be able to kill the clock from the there and come out with the win.

    Seahawks at Colts

Before I go into the game summary, it drives me nuts that everytime I dive the defender dives straight. He wont dive at an angle that would tackle the guy. That is how the Seahawks were able to breaks so many damn TDs.

Ok, so the game would start out with 66 yards pass in the Flats to Edge for a TD (dove with 3 guys and everyone wouldnt go at an angle). Colts came back on the next drive and added a 45 yard FG by Vinateri. But, on the kickoff, Burleson returned a 97yd TD (2 diving defenders not diving at an angle). Again, the Colts answered with a 37yd FG by Vinateri.

In the 2nd quarter the Colts would start strong with a 19 yard TD pass to free agent pick WR Walsh. On the Seahawks next possesion, CB Marlin jackson intercepted Hasselbacks pass and returned it for 6. Then again, the Seahawks scored a screen pass to Burleson that turned into 93 yards (again, ore defendes only diving striaght and no angles). Next drive, Manning threw and INT to Trufant for a 42yd pick six.

The 3rd quarter would see no scoring by either team, as the defenses made adjustments at halftime.

The fourth rolled around with the Seahwaks answer first on a O.Mare 46 yard FG. Couple defensive stops by both teams, then finally the Colts were able to score on a 65 yard TD pass to TE Clark. Colts were down 3 with 3mins left. Manning drove the team down the field and kicker Vinateri made a 45 yard FG to tie the game. OH WAIT....once again the Seahawks are able to break the kickoff down the field b/c of horrible diving tackles. The returner was tackled on 5 yardline, to watch O.Mare come out to win the game with 5 seconds.....HE MISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OT!

IN OT, Manning would throw a INT (tipped by WR, DB, then intercepted). The next play, Burleson broke a 58yd TD pass. I never knew Burleson was so hard to tackle...both Marlin Jackson and Bob Sanders were shoved down by the WR.

I really hate losing in a way that you feel you werent given a fair shake. But, how in the hell can i say that we Mare misses a chipsot to win the game.

    Oh well, GG CPU...fuckoff

    Cowboys vs Broncos

This game would be all Cowboys 2 receiving Td's by Roy Williams and 3 rushing Td's by Felix Jones would lead the way for the Cowboys offense. The Cowboys defense would only allow 4 first downs in the game along with only allowing 5 rushing yds and 170 total yards for the game and 6 sacks in a game that was never close. Cowboys win easily 41-10.

The steelers host the bolts week 4. Chargers jump out to a lead with a gates td. Steelers answer with a Mendenhall score early in the 2nd. Bolts take the lead back with a td. Steelers add a Reed fg late. 14 -10 bolts at the half.

Willie Parker takes the first offensive play for the steelers 70 yrds for a score and the lead. That woke up the steelers D who turned up the pressure on Rivers and forced him into 3 ints. Mendenhall punches in another early in the 4th. Final score 24-14 steelers.

The Titans wound up with a cpu matchup this week against Jacksonville. They came out scorching hot and smashed the Jags in their own place 44-9. Vince Young and backup running back Javon Ringer got some garbage time action in the fourth quarter as the Titans were already on cruise control.
