ULM @ Kent State
Keeping this one short...Very frustrating game. My team just made so many mistakes. In the first half I made one bad decision leading to an interception. Then my WR decided to lose two fumbles including one at the 1-yd line costing me a TD. Then I gave up a kickoff return for a touchdown. After that it was a back and forth game but a touchdown pass with 5 seconds left would win it.
How about a score?
Haha, you would think i'd include that... 31-27
You think your frustrated qwab? I gave up a td with 20 secs left in 1st half and then one with 6 secs in 2nd half. Good game bro.
Ask the ladies, I like to finish strong. Yeah, when I scored that touchdown to win it, I was thinking man that would really suck to be on the other end of this. Good game AJ.
Like all those last second losses you had last year?
Idaho goes into the land of the Mormon, steals a win, brags about having premarital sex.
This one was crazy. Idaho took a 21-10 lead to halftime, and after defensive stands by both teams, Utah State found a blown assignment by the safety and exploited it for a long touchdown....and then the server crapper out. We could still talk to each other but each of our games gave the "continue v CPU?" message. So deep into he 3rd quarter in a great game with big plays made by both teams, and we had to restart.
The second time we played, it was a different story. It was neck and neck until late in the 3rd quarter when after an Aggie TD gave them a 4 point lead, Idaho fumbled the kickoff return and an Aggie scooped it up and walked it into the endzone to give the Aggies an 11 point lead. Idaho had to battle back on the arm of Jim Rice. Idaho looked to complete the comeback when with 4 minutes left they got first and goal, down 24-31. A bad sack on 2nd down gave the Vandals a difficult 3rd and goal from the 18, and the Vandals were for forced to kick a field goal to bring the score to 27-31 USU. The Aggies tried to grind out the last 3 minutes. But the Vandals came up with a big stop in their own territory to give the Aggies 4th and 2 from the 32 yardline. A field goal attempt was just short and the Vandals took over, down by 4, with about a minute left. It didn't take long as Rice found receiver Chase Holley on an out route and he was able to turn it upfield and tightrope the sideline for a 32 yard gain. Two plays later, he Vandals had 1st and Goal from the Aggie 2. But the Aggie defense wasnt going to give in easily, and pushed the Vandals back, forcing a 3rd and Goal from the 4. RB Pitts found the endzone on the next play, and the extra point gave the Vandals the 34-31 lead with just 17 seconds left. After 4 Hail Marys weren't answered, Jim Rice was able to take a knee and enjoy the win.
I think that was actually two seasons ago. But since when did the things i say have to make sense?
Arkansas St. - 25
Louisville - 24
What a game ladies and gentlemen. Just when it looked like all hope was lost, we stole one from Louisville in the final seconds. Leading the whole game, Louisville turned it on late in the 3rd. A fake punt conversion led to a touchdown to give them the lead, but we responded quickly to go up 17-14. On a potential game-sealing drive late in the 4th quarter, our QB Dennis Johnson was sacked and fumbled, and Louisville rumbled over 60 yards for a touchdown return to take the lead with a few minutes left. Now on a drive to win the game, Johnson threw an INT, but fortunately the defense held Louisville to a FG, making it 24-17 with just over a minute left. Once again though, Johnson threw an INT as he got hit releasing the ball, and Louisville just had to make us burn one timeout. In comes the Red Wolves defense, which forced a fumble on the first play and recovered it. The offense took over and quickly got into the endzone with :17 left, and we put in the 2-pt conversion to get the win.
Oh I saw this post sir and I take offense.
I miss New Mexico...
