    Week 5: Aub @ #16 TENN

On a Clear night down in the hostile confines of Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Auburn took a huge stead back towards legitimacy, and a small step toward Gators. Auburn hasent lost to the Vols since 2003 and would continue that streak with another win agaist the #16 Vols to make them 5-0 since 2003 and 4-1 on the year.

The first QTR was scoreless as both defenses made the right plays to end drives. It wasnt until the second QTR where TENN would score first with thier passing attack, on a drive that was oh too easy for the VOLS. Wanting to catch the VOLS offguard the TIgers went to the air on their first play from scrimmage to the tune of 71 yard with a pass to M. Billings who would try and outrace E. Berry to the endzone just making it. The first half ended 21-14 Tigers.

In 3rd D. Moore would tie it up 21-21 but 49 secs later M. Billings took another pass to the house this one from 67 yards out. A 54 yard Ben Tate TD run(3rd of the day) and a INT-TD Return from OLB C. Stevens would put it out of reach. D .Moore caught a pass that was deflected off 3 aub defenders, and took it into the endzone but it was too late by then.

    M. Hardesty 17 89 5.2avg
    D. Moore 5 recs 129 2 td
    D. Vereen 8 tks 1 TFL 1 int/ E. Berry 4 tks 1 pass defended

    Aub
    K. Burns 14/21 315 2 td 1 int
    B, Tate 21 att 129 3 td
    M.Billings 4 rec 166 2 td
    R. Gray 8 tks 3 TFL 3 Sacks 1 int

    M. Billings 16 rec 568 6td on the year, is Aub big play threat with his elite 4.3 speed(94speed) and 6'2" frame, but he tends to dissapear when Auburn needs him the most, if you look at his game vs TAMU.
