The Saints rolled into this Week 5 matchup with a perfect 5-0 record and riding high atop the NFC South. On the other hand the Bucs were sporting an unimpressive 2-2 record and just trying to stay afloat in the competitive NFC.

The game was all Bucs from the opening kickoff. The Bucs defense caused havoc in the Saints backfield for the entire afternoon forcing QB Drew Brees into some bad situations early and getting intercepted twice.

The Bucs offense used a balance attack with the run and the pass and was able to keep the dangerous Saints offense grounded on the sideline. Saints elite weapons, WR Brandin Cooks and TE Jimmy Graham were held to a combined 5 catches and 60yds.

Bucs MVP on this day was QB Mike Glennon whom ended the day 13 of 15 for 226yds and 2 TDs.
