It didnt look good for the Falcons on the opening drive after Michael Turner fumbled on his sceond carry of the game, leading to a Packers FG, but it was all Falcons after that.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers Offense had no answer to the Falcons defense today. The Falcons held Rodgers to 83 yards passing and Intercepted last year's Super Bowl MVP 6 times! His counterpart, Matt Ryan, only had to throw the ball 17 times this game as the Falcons rushing attack was nearly unstoppable. Michael Turner rushed 23 times for a season high 239 yards and 4 TD's. Not much else to be said here as the Falcons were up 31-3 at the half and 52-3 after 3 quarters of play.

    Stats:

    Passing:
    M. Ryan (ATL) - 13/17 for 228 yards 3 TD's 1 INT
    A. Rodgers (GB) - 6/25 for 83 yards 6 INT's

    Rushing:
    M. Turner (ATL) - 23 for 239 and 4 TD's
    R. Grant (GB) - 18 for 104

    Receiving:
    J. Jones (ATL) - 4 for 84 yards and 2 TD's
    R. White (ATL) - 4 for 46 yards
    H. Douglas (ATL) - 3 for 63 yards 1 TD
    D. Driver (GB) - 1 for 26 yards

    Defense:
    T. DeCoud (ATL) - 8 tackles 1 INT
    J. Abraham (ATL) - 6 tackles 1 sack
    C. Lofton (ATL) - 5 tackles 1 INT
    A. Hawk (GB) - 6 takcles 1 INT
    B. Raji (GB) - 8 tackles 2 TFL's

It was a rough game, but a good clean game.
