Kansas dominated Big XII newcomer BYU at home and the defense played great until they allowed 2 late 4th quarter scores to give the Mormons 21 points on the game. In an unexpected move, Jordan Webb started and had a much better game that Mike Cummings as he threw for 2 TD’s with no picks and also had a productive day running the ball. Kansas’s running game was spectacular no matter who was running this game. Kansas now sits at 3-0 and looking good after beating 2 ranked teams in a row.
Jordan Webb (QB)- 10-16 for 200 yards, 2 TD, 7 carries for 39 yards

For the second straight, Oklahoma takes down a Big 12 newcomer. This time, TCU fell victim to the Sooners. Oklahoma's balanced offensive attack once again led them to victory, as HB Dominique Whaley ran for 116 yards and a TD on 11 carries, and QB Drew Allen went 11-15 for 124 yards and 2 TD. HB Brennan Clay added a touchdown and 41 yards on 8 carries. The two teams traded scores all half, and went into the break with the Sooners leading 24-17. With Oklahoma up 31-24 late in the game, they were able to solidify the win with a long drive that was capped by a Clay touchdown with 1:26 remaining.
HB/Return Specialist Roy Finch earned player of the game honors as he had 187 return yards and a touchdown. This is the second straight week that he has returned a kickoff for a TD. Watch out for Mr. Finch, Big 12.
Seminoles just get by Tigers 21-14
It was pretty much big play or bust for the FSU offense in Tallahassee as the home team beat the visitors from Clemson. FSU jumped out to an early 14-0 lead thanks to a 43 yard interception return from CB Xavier Rhodes and a 75 yard touchdown reception by TE Nick O'Leary. The Seminole defense played another good game today holding the Tigers to just 119 yards through the air and played stout defense throughout the game even though Clemson had a clear advantage in time of possession.
The Tigers got on the board late in the 2nd quarter when FB Justin Young capped off a great drive with a 5 yard touchdown run to cut the lead in half to 14-7. The Seminoles regained their 2 touchdown lead when WR Willie Haulstead caught a 42 yard pass from EJ Manuel in the endzone. The lead however was short lived as Clemson returner Xavier Brewer took the kickoff 103 yards for the touchdown.
From then on the game was a defensive struggle as neither team give the offenses any room to operate. A final drive by fell short Clemson ended when QB Tajh Boyd tried to scramble for the marker on 4th down and was brought down by DE Bjoern Werner.
The game was also great for the Seminoles recruiting efforts as 4 150 recruits had their official visits this week. 3 of which committed to the school after game with a 4th a soft commit.
FSU Key PlayerCB Xavier Rhodes 3 Tackles 1 Sack 1 Int 1 TD
Clemson Key PlayerCB Xavier Brewer 1 Tackle 1 Int, 156 Kick Return Yards 1 TD
Good game Matthew Keves
GG...I think you stole those 2 tackles I was working hard on...bastard
Nah only one tackle.. But I have the inside track on that guard, center and receiver.
Yeah we seems to be battling for several guys this year, which is fine since FSU is usually recruiting good guys. Rather be battling you than NC St and Wake Forest for scraps.
