    Week 5 Heisman Watch

    1. Daniel Herron: This weeks leader in the Heisman watch is RB Dan Herron.
With 617 yards on the ground and 8 td's he is the odds on favorite
to take home the most prestigious trophy in all of college football.
Up next for the Buckeyes are Michigan st spartans, who will provide a nice
opponent for our leader to run against.

    2. Chris Thompson: The Junior RB for the Seminoles has really made the jump following
last years chick fil a bowl were he really made a name for himself against
South Carolina. Thompson has amassed 680 yards on the ground as well
as 8 td's. The noles face a bye this week but look for the talented
RB to get back to business next week against Wake Forest.

    3. Andrew Luck: Luck started out on the list as our #1 contender for the trophy. He
has since slipped down to #3 but still in good contention. Only throwing for 3 td's so far
on the season is not going to cut it for a Heisman contending QB.
Stanford takes on UCLA this week and if Luck wants to stay
on this list I suggest he make something happen.

    4. Rex Burkhead: The bruising RB for the cornhuskers has found his way on this list.
The Junior RB has ran for 480 yards and 7 td's. Look for Burkead
to carry the load for this dominant running Nebraska team.
The Huskers travel to Wisconsin to take on the Badgers this week.
If Rex has a big game look for his name to move up this list.

    5. Edwin Baker: The 5'9" 208 lbs RB has muscled his way on to the list. Rushing for
630 yards so far on the season as well as 7 td's. He also has 6 rushes of
20 yards or more so his speed is deceptive. Michigan st travels
to Columbus to take on the Buckeyes and the showdown of Heisman
    contenders will ensue.

All these candidates are worthy of the Heisman trophy but it's only week 5 can these
guys keep this up for a complete season. We shall see.

Burkhead should move on the list with his 307 yard performance against Wisconsin

I think my QB will win the Heisman. :D But anyways, he should put up a good amount of rush yards whether QB draws, options, or scrambles. I'll hope to keep his passing attempts under 15 each game. I already know Kasper will be calling cheese if he runs for 50-100 yards ;)

Bulldog IMO we need rushing harder.. both ways. CPU should run for more then 30 yards or so against us.. and my 80 overall RB shouldn't be averaging 100+ yards a game...

two 300+ yard performances for user RBs this year. I'll be honest, LaMichael James is better than both those backs, and I have had opportunities to run for a LEAST 200 with him in a couple games. Exercising restraint sucks...

The new University of Wisconsin Head Coach MC York tweeted this today @BeStCoAcHINTHEWORLD "Missed Burkhead by one week. No one and I mean no one is putting up 300 yards on Wisconsin on my watch. Who the fuck is this guy? Rex who names their kid Rex my dog yes,my kid no. I'd like to punch his momma in the mouth. We will be letting the RB's show their stuff for the Heisman voters next week against Indiana. "

Where did I run for 300+ yards? I only ran for 100+ for all of my games

Agreed. I give it to palamo 25 times a game and I have no qb. My backup gets 10-25 carries a game. I wouldn't limit having 300 yards but we should limit it to 30 carries or less.

and if we don't use these new sliders this year at least move run blocking down 5-10 points for the rest of the year. for Christ sake Utah ran for 436 yards vs Arizona st. last week.

This, not trying to confront Bulldog , but just make user running harder and I think we won't see anymore 300 yard games.
