GG Dave you got robbed again.

With both teams going into sundays matchup sporting losing records, Panters(1-3) and Giants(1-4), these two teams were both desperate for a win. The Giants would get the ball first but would be forced to punt. Then both teams traded punts and on the Panthers second possesion Jimmy Clausen would be picked setting the Giants up for a Jacobs 3 yard TD. The Panthers just seemed lost in the first half unable to generate any points while Clausen would be picked off again. The Panthers defesnse was stout though, time after time holding the Giants to punts as the Panthers offense tried to find a rythym. Finally in the 3rd quarter the Panthers looked to finally be putting a nice drive together only to see DeAngelo Williams fumble inside the Giants 10 yard line. After another Panthers deffensive stop, Carolina would get the ball down by 14 in the fourth quarter. The Panthers would finally start to move the ball as rookie TE Vernon Clarke began to provide a spark to the offense, catching some nice passes setting up a Clausen to Stewart TD. With under 3 minutes to go the Panthers defense would come up big again picking Tebow off giving Carolina new life. The Panthers capitalized on a 2 yard Stewart TD tying it up with 29 seconds left. The Giants chose to run out the clock and take it to overtime. The coin flip would go in New York's favor and the Giants began to move the ball well behind some tough MJD and Jacobs runs. Jacobs would fumble the ball but New York would recover around mid field. Two plays later Jacobs fumbled again but this time it was recovered by the Panthers Pugh who returned it 52 yards to win the game.
