Raiders extend their win streak to 2 games with a hard fought game against the Baltimore Ravens. With the win the Raiders get to .500 with a 2-2 record and the Ravens fall below .500 with a 2-3 record.

With the Ravens winning the toss and electing to kick, the Raiders found themselves on offense for the first series of the game for the second straight week. Like last week, the Raiders came out trying to run the ball, and with a 42 yard TD run, McFadden set the tone for the day and gave the Raiders a 7-0 lead. Later in the 2nd quarter Janokowski hit a 35 yd FG to extend their lead to 10-0. Down by 10 the Ravens had to get some points on the board soon. Getting just inside Raiders territory, the Ravens looked to be on the move, but the Raiders D stiffened and held the Ravens to a 57 yard FG try in which they nailed straight through the goal post. Raiders answered with a 51 yd FG from Jano and then the Ravens would score another long FG from 59 yards out to end the half.

The 3rd quarter saw another long Raven FG, this one was from 58 yards away...unbeleivable. The Raiders answered in the 4th with a 1 yd TD plunge by rookie QB Parris and a pick 6 by CB Blakely. The Ravens hit a home run ball on a 75 yard bomb from Flacco to Bell that pretty much ended the game. Raiders win 27-16.
