Colorado pulls one out that shouldn't have been won. USC would go up 7-0 to start the game, and then Colorado would throw a pick, giving USC great field position. They had a 4th and 1 from the 15 and instead of taking 3 and a two possession lead, USC would run the option and it would be stopped for a loss and a turnover on downs. Colorado would finally get something going with a deep pass over the middle to Robinson for the 7-7 tie. USC would quickly get in the red zone again with a run that saw about 4 missed tackles, and finally the running back was taken down at the 3 yard line. USC would then throw an interception, and Colorado would quickly score off a 82 yard run by Hall for the 14-7 lead. USC would answer however with a 42 yard td pass off a curl route, and a missed tackle by the safety. Colorado would end the half with a 67 yard pass to Nick Spruce who broke the press in a cover 0 blitz and take a 21-14 lead with the ball in the 2nd half. USC however would stop Colorado and score to tie the game at 21. Colorado would answer with a field goal, then force a punt. On a 3rd and 2 with just over 2 minutes remaining, Colorado would find the Freshman Perkins for a post over the field of the field and he would out run the Safteys for a touchdown and a 10 point lead. USC would answer though. They'd march all the way down the field and on a 4th and 4, would throw a pass over the middle and the receiver was hit so hard, the ball was forced loose, but instead of it being an incompletion, it was ruled a fumble, and as the ball rolled into the end zone, USC would fall on it and cut the lead to 3. With only 1 time out remaining, USC's only option was to try for the onside. Colorado would recover and get a big home win with several recruits visiting. The Buffaloes were outplayed again but somehow found a way to win. They will need to play much better the rest of the season if they want to defend their Pac 12 Championship.

It was the toughest game I've played this season. They always give me all kinds of problems. None of their players ever go down on the 1st hit, it's crazy.

Starting 0-3 heading into my first user game against UCLA. A win would be a huge upset and earn us a lot of respect in the PAC 12, a loss and we'll be fighting for .500.

The Univeristy of Arizona pulled off a major upset this week, avenging last seasons blowout with one of their own. The Bruins of Ucla came to town lookin to beat the cats at home once again, but U of A JR HB Clifton Hall had other plans. Rushing for a career high 290 yards and 6 td's, Hall helped the Wildcat offense score 50 + points for the third week in a row. On the other side of the ball, the Wildcat secondary frustrated the Bruin qb's all game long to the tune of 7 ints, 2 of which were returned for td's. FS Robert Townsend grabbed two ints to help further his case for Pac 12 Def. Player of the Year. He is in the top 10 in the nation in tackles and Top 5 in ints.
The Wildcats will look to pull off another top 25 upset when the travel to Boulder, Co and face of against the University of Colorado.
