    BARN BURNER AT BUFFS FIELD
The computer wanted this one really bad, defenders couldnt tackle, intercept, or cover. In fact all the computer had to do was throw seam routes or little 10 yard outs for 60 yard touchdowns. it started with their first touchdown, double coverage (tight) reciever jumps through my guys for the first bogus touchdown. i would march down the field and score to match. This just wasn't going to cut it, so then the UCONN defenders started morphing through my recievers for the interceptions (twice), or jumping from 10 yards away and of course my recievers would help by stopping their route alltogether so the defender would wind up in front of them for the interception. The linebackers all jump like shack to reject your passes 20 yards behind them, "Get that shit out of here"
It is a damn miracle my controller is in one piece after that game. I dont mind the descrepencies every once in a while to make it challanging, but when it just starts cheating you, it becomes very aggravating. I am glad they are fixing the retarded trajectory problems and the damn psychic defenders. NOw that im through with my tirade, i still almost won this piece of crap game. I had to score 27 points in the 4th quarter to get it to 3 points, damn offsides kick went out of bounds with about 1:21 on the clock, it was over after that. The missed two point conversion that would have made it an 8 point game at the end really put this out of reach for me. I had a kickoff return for touchdown and a fumble recovered for a 60 yard touchdown (this was the next play after i missed my first onside kick).
i usually try to make this like a real coach talking about his team but this one was way out of control, too aggravated to write this one that way. i just hope the recruits i had coming this week didnt get a minus towards my college.
Final Score: UCONN 51 CU 48
both teams had 373 yards passing
TTL yards: UCONN 622 CU 749
thank god for user games it is an even playing field then

Cal had a blowout win over Arizona. The score was nowhere near indicative of the chess match that occurred.

I only out-gained Arizona by less than 50 yards despite winning by 38 points. Turnovers and huge plays on special teams really were the difference.

Also, Zona has some linebackers that are very strong and will SMASH the ball carrier backwards. They'll rip the football out if you aren't careful.

GG XAttackConquerX - the rematch next season in Tuscon should be a great one.

    I Peench v BakerWildcat7 - USER game

^^^ Need these done to advance. I'm with ya, I'd love to knock out my game against WSU tonight. We've had a few early advances so I also okay if time is needed to get this done.

    Simply would be nice! :)

GOLDEN BEARS DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS
SHINE ONCE AGAIN IN WIN OVER ZONA
    [IMG]
CB Martin Burton pick six stunned Arizona and gave the Golden Bears the momentum early
The Golden Bears faced off against Arizona to open up the conference slate. Both teams entered the contest with 2-1 records and an eagerness to lock down their first conference win. The matchup would be the first meeting between Coach IrishBearcat and Coach XAttackConquerX with the Zona ball coach leading the team in his first season as Head Coach.
Arizona's offense took the field first. Zona QB Kevin Gray was cited by Coach IrishBearcat as one of the biggest threats they would face during the game. The pass defense struggled immensely against Alabama's attack and many experts felt Gray could do some damage.

Their first offensive drive ended with Gray throwing a pass right into the hands of reserve CB Martin Burton who raced into the end-zone for a touchdown. Up 7-0 Cal's defense would fail to stop the Wildcat's offense. Gray rebounded by hitting TE Matt Thomas on a crossing pattern for a touchdown. Cal's backup QB Josh Martin fumbled on a 3rd and 1 and Arizona recovered. The Golden Bears defense stiffened and forced a punt. KR/RB Brenton Smith broke a tackle and made a beautiful cut down field to advance the punt all the way for a touchdown! Cal lead 14-7 at the end of the first.

Brenton Smith's punt return marked his third return TD of the season (+2 KR TDs)

The defenses dominated the second quarter. The only points of the quarter were scored by the Golden Bears. On third and long QB Seth Fritz hit WR Matt Daly wide open on a corner route. The defense tracked him down and shoved him out of bounce at the 4 yard line. The next play Fritz connected with TE John Clarke on an out route for a touchdown. Cal lead 21-7 at halftime.

The luck for the Wildcats did not improve in the second half. Cal opened the half with a big KR from Brenton Smith. The offense stalled and K Justin Sledge added a field goal to go up 24-7. QB Gray forced another pass into the gut of LB Marcus Jackson. The very next play Cal ran a draw with RB Shaun Young who took it 12 yards for a touchdown. After the Golden Bear D forced a punt, backup QB Josh Martin redeemed himself for his fumbled by take a read option play right up the gut for a 36 yard touchdown while showing off his speed.
Josh Martin was able to take advantage of his touches with a 36 yard rushing toucchdown
RB Brenton Smith added another touchdown in the third quarter to give California a 45-7 lead entering the fourth quarter. Arizona put a very good drive together right before the end of the game and built some much-needed momentum for their squad entering next week. Cal won the ball game 45-14.
The amazing stat was Cal's offense only outgained Arizona's by 55 yards, but still was able to win by 31 points. GG XAttackConquerX , we know Arizona will be ready for revenge next season in Tuscon.

    Week 5
    Stanford 28
    Arizona St. 14
After last weeks' poor showing at home vs. UCLA, this was a huge test into which direction this season might go for the Cardinals. Neither team showed a great consistency on the offensive side of the ball. But our defense really stepped up to the plate on the road, only allowing 41 yards on the ground and intercepting 3 Sun Devil passes. The turnovers really had a big impact on this game and with the offense being able to gather almost 5 more minutes of time of possession, we were really able to limit any chances of a late comeback from ASU..
GG LSUTRUTH Looking forward to next year..

Next week The Cardinals are back at home to play the likes of Air Force..
