Subbing Coach Mustang and Peyton Manning was frustrated all day with the lack of speed at WR and a blitz happy Titans Defense.
Week 5 was a strange one for the Titans. It pitted them against another tough divisional rivalry with the Indy Colts. After the first scheduled game with Titans made the previous coach hang up his clipboard and headset for good and he walked out on his team, the colts were put on the spot and had to make a quick search for a substitute coach before the deadline of this week. Coach Mustang stepped up and took control of his old team and wanted to really put a dent in the hopes and dreams of his conference rival Titans. The Titans, after a great performance in the one quarter against old colts coach NDColts, were confident coming into the game but coach Ox seemed a bit worried about the beatings that he once took to the former AFC south coach.

The colts got the ball first in the game and Manning looked very sharp to start the game as they drove all the way to the Titans 10 yard line with ease. Coach Ox got his defense together and was busted heads on the sideline and they responded. After tackle for a loss, sack, and a near INT, the colts were pushed back to the 35 yard line and were forced to kicked the FG to take the early lead. The Titans responded with the only other score of the quarter, HB Marion Barber got short pass and rumbled in for the score to make it a 7-3 game going into the second quarter.

The second quarter was a different story though, the colts lost all momentum at home and with long drives and quick explosive plays, the titans took a 3 score lead going into halftime. The quarter started out with 5 yard TD run by barber and a 49 yard TD run by CJ. Manning and the colts got the ball with about 2 mins left down by 15 points and pressed. The colts drove down the field quite nicely, getting two or three 3rd and long conversions. On a first and 10 from the Titans 12, coach mustang tried to fool the titans D with a PA FB pass the flats out of goal line formation, but Titans CB Finnegan was in cover 2 assignment and jumped the route and took it back for the 5th defensive TD by the Titans this year. The colts pressed for another score but were only able to end the half with a FG to make the halftime score 28-9 Titans.

Titans came out of the locker room knowing if they could score on the first possession of the second half, the game would pretty much be over so the Titans had blood on their minds. After a couple skillful plays by CJ and crew, the Titans found themselves at the Colts 37 yard line. After VY couldnt find any receivers open and Freeny broke lose and was coming, VY took off running. After 3 or 4 user jukes, VY scored on a 37 yard TD run right up the gut to put the titans up big, 35-9.

The colts would try to come back with long scores of 46 yards by Dallas Clark and 52 yards by rookie WR Waiters but it wouldnt be enough. The Titans went into kill the clock mode with their two headed monster at RB and added 3 FGs by Bironas in the quarter to end the game with a score of 44-22 Titans.

The titans move to 4-1 heading into their bye week with their next oppentent coming off the bte week will be the 1-3 Houston Texans. The colts welcome in their new coach in Juan and Coach Juan and the Colts will have to gel fast because next week they travel to Miami to face the always tough Mustang.
