    Week 5

This week, the Raiders traveled to the Big Apple to take on the New York Football Giants and coach/GM Christdan. This was the Raiders first game against a human opponent this season.

    1st quarter
Raiders control the ball and get the first points of the game as RB M.Bush takes it in from 5 yards out to give the Raiders an early 7-0 lead.

    2nd quarter
With the Raiders driving again, deep inside the Giants territory Raiders TE Z.Miller caught a pass at the 7 yard line only to be crushed by the Giant defender forcing a fumble. Giant C.Sintim picked up the loose ball and rumbled 93 yards for the TD, and tied the game at 7-all.
On the insuing kick-off, Raider J.Lee Higgins took it 97 yards for a quick TD and put the Raiders back on top 14-7

    3rd quarter
Giants would get the ball first to start the 2nd half, and they wouldnt waste much time as RB A.Bradshaw would get to the outside and run for a 56 yard TD to tie the game at 14-all.
Raiders offense couldnt get on track in the 3rd period, but their "D" would step up big as CB C.Johnson would pick of an Eli Manning pass and return it 9 yards for the TD and the lead, 21-14 going into the final quarter.

    4th quarter
The fourth quarter would belong to the Oakland Raiders, as they would score 13 points in the quarter, 2 Janikowski FGs and a Justin Fargas TD run would secure the game for the Raiders. The Giants would get another fumble recovery from DE Justin Tuck who would return it 19 yards for the score, but would be the only points for the G-men in the final 8 minutes.

Great Game Christdan, Good Luck the rest of the Season!!!
(ps, forgot to get a couple of highlights..)

A wild game which would see a 62-yd rushing touchdown by the Panthers HB DeAngelo Williams from the first play of the game. On the Redskins possession, a 52yd run by Portis would be for nothing as a few plays later, OLB Greenwood would pickup a fumble and return it for 88yds. Then Portis would get hurt, and for the rest of the game the Redskins rushing tandem of Portis/Dunn would be held in check with only 95yds rushing on the day. The Panthers had a huge lead at the half following an interception brought back for a score by the Panthers CB Marshall, h is 3rd interception of the year.

In the second half, the Redskins would air it out to Randle El a few times and he would score 2 touchdowns. Another touchdown came when Hall returned a kickoff for 102yds. With 21pts in the fourth quarter, the Redskins pulled within 3 pts with 2mins left in the game. Facing 4th and inches from the goalline the Panthers would go for it, rather than give the Skins the chance to march downfield and tie/win. HB Jonathan Stewart would run in his 2nd red zone touchdown of the game to seal the victory.

GG Kan, I will post some highlights tomorrow.

Another game vs the Cpu how great. This game was full of injuries for my team for some reason. Got so bad that my 3rd best Wr Patrick Crayton had a career yes I said career ending injury. Anyway The Cowboys get the ball first just have Romo throw an interception. The Chiefs wouldn't be able to score though and miss a Fg, they would actually miss 3 Fg's in the game. The Cowboys would get on the board first with a FG in the 1st qtr and add a 2nd one early in the 2nd to give themselves a 6-0 lead. The Chiefs would take the lead on a 3 yd Pass from Cassel to Rb Charles. The Cowboys would answer with a 7 yd Td run by Romo to take the lead back 13-7 at halftime.

In the 3rd qtr the Chiefs strike back with a 68 yd pass from Cassel to Wr Copper to take the lead back 14-13. On the ensuing kickoff Felix Jones would give the Cowboys the lead back 21-14 with a 93 yd kickoff return for a TD. The Cowboys would be able to seperate themselves from there with a Td run by Choice and a 43 yd Td Pass to Austin to seal the game 35-14.

    Highlights

    Romo intercepted by Johnson

68 yd Td pass from Cassel to Copper

93 yd kickoff return by Felix

43 yd Td pass from Romo to Austin

BALTIMORE, MD - The Ravens pushed their record to 5-0 after a hard-fought match against their division rivals from Cincinnati. The game would feature a lot of hard hits and turnovers in a game that was close throughout. The Ravens got the first break when Fabian Washington picked off Carson Palmer to stop an early drive. Steve Hauschka cashed on with a 34 yard FG to put the Ravens on the board. The Ravens would give one back later in the half as Flacco threw wild, right to Trent. Late in the second half, following another Fabian Washington INT, the Ravens would put the first ball in the endzone. A Todd Heap reception would bring the ball all the way down to the 2. Ray Rice would carry a defender in on the next play to give Baltimore a 10-0 lead at the half.

The teams battled to a stalemate in the 3rd on the back of good defense by both teams. The Ravens put another FG on the board to push the score out to 13-0. Cincinnati got the ball moving as Carson Palmer started to heat up. He converted a long down after a Haoti Ngata sack and got the Bengals downfield quickly. Terrell Suggs would sit in the middle of the field reading Palmer and pick him off to end the Bengals best drive. The Ravens followed it up with a big run from Rice capped off by a facemask penalty. Rice finished things off with an 18 yard scamper for a 20-0 lead. Palmer would make a nice play late, hooking up with Chad Ochocinco for a great 40 yard TD reception, but Cincy would fail to recover an onside kick and the Ravens would run the clock out. Rice finished with 77 yards and 2 TDs. For the Bengals, Carson Palmer was 12-24 for 179 yards.

Good game Stealth, see you in Cincy.

    NY Jets @ Miami Dolphins

The AFC East Rivals continue as the Dolphins run out the gates scoring on their first drive and then Joey Porter nails Thomas Jones and Gabriel Wilson scoops it up and scores. in the 2nd qtr Pennington throws a screen pass to Ronnie Brown who scores from 26 yards out.

Jets recover a muffed punt and Jets capitilize with a Thomas Jones TD.

Second falf was all Jets as Sanchez would move the ball in the air and would find TE J Keller for a 67 yard gain to the Miami 1 yard line. two plays later Leon Washington scores to pull with in 10 points. Dolphins D held when needed and the Wildcat managed the clock with Brown, Williams, Ginn running and converting 3rd downs.

    Final
    Jets 14
    Dolphins 24

    Vikes v Rams

When is a win not a win? When you lose your starting qb for 4 weeks. The Vikes are now without the running of Peterson and the passing of Farve, but managed to go into St. Louis and force 6 turnovers in a 41-17 victory.

The Vikings were led by the solid rushing of Ian Johnson and Chester Taylor playing a ball control offense and piggybacked an outstanding game by the defense which managed to bottle up the dangerous Ram ground game.

The Rams, with the exception of Marc Bulger, played a great game. Their defense knocked Farve out on his second pass of the day for 4 weeks with a torn labrum, but were just on the field too much and wore down at the end of the game.

GG Lou and hope you have a great season.

49ers played host to the Falcons this week. Falcons were looking sharp on their first drive keeping the niners defense with their backs against the wall. Their first drive was capped off by a 57 yard td pass to Tony Gonzalez to put them ahead 7-0. Niners would respond with a long drive of their own finished with a 1 yard td run by Gore. Willis took that time to get the defense in line repeating to them on sidelines "Calm down, Calm down" which they did, shutting down the ground attack and playing smart in the secondary getting 2 picks. The then offense gain steamed as Gore and Coffee took turns pounding the falcons defense which allowed Hill to hit the open passing lanes to Crabtree and davis.

    Niners 35 - Falcons 7

Niners have the bye week next before facing 2 good CPU opponents.

Titans played host to the Indianapolis cpu controlled Colts this week. This one was a close one after and early onslaught by the Titans offense. Again powered by do it all back Chris Johnson's 100yd effort and two TD's the Titans wound up with the win 28-19. Kenny Britt also had a big game with 4 catches for 122 yards and 1 TD. The Titans appear to be on a roll now and they will have a true test next week as they travel to Foxboro to take on Tom Brady and the Patriots.

    Week #5 Steelers 14 Lions 15

What started out good for the Steelers was a run by Willie Park for about 80'ish (maybe) TD run. Then the Lions started to do some good run blitzing to hold Parker in check for the rest of the first half. Steeler's defense would make Stafford's passing game off by a few hits to sideline through the game and finally putting him out.

So, Lions then had to turn to Culpepper where it was some wild throws that I just couldn't believe he missed. Steelers and Lion's defenses were both playing pretty good through most of the game. Lions could only muster a FG before the half.

    Half
    Steelers 7
    Lions 3

Second half was where the Lion's defense had to really start putting some pressure on the offense to force some turnovers because it was pretty much going no where for the lion's offense. Lions get the ball on their 1yd line and march it down inside the redzone and I hit the wrong darn button and it was int'ed in the endzone.

    Third
    Steelers 7
    Lions 3

Fourth, Again, Parker ran for a 83YD TD!!! Steelers are up 14-3 with about 6 minutes to play. Lions pin the Steelers deep inside their end by some sacks and the Lions get a Saftey. Then, Steelers get back and it was int'ed. Culpepper hit Garvin for a 51yd TD with 3 minutes to go. Lion's hold the Steelers to 3 and out and guess what?...Yea, Steelers punt away, and strip the ball and recover it!!!!.
Now with just 2:16 sec's left the Lions hold the Steelers to 3 and out and with under 2 minutes to play only 1 TO left Culpepper hits some nice passes (not many he did) and the Lions are now in range to kick the go ahead FG. With 5sec's left Hanson hits a 30yd FG to win the game....GG Bud

    Final
    Steelers 14
    Lions 15

Keep players for Lions' Rookie MLB Levy 3 sacks!!!
