    Week 6 2010

Like I said in the other thread, some of you need to be a hell of a lot more active if you want to remain in this dynasty. If you want to just play your games and advance then you can find those dynasties in the NCAA lobby; I know of one ran by a 13 year old from Philly that I could hook you up with. There are more new guys everyday itching to get in here and add content. Don't make me be the bad guy here. I'm not saying you have to write a 1,000 word essay every week but you gotta write SOMETHING, SOMETIMES.

That being said, good job getting your games in last week guys. Let's keep up the pace and get this one in quick. I'll advance as soon as you play.

The top recruiting classes have just came out. I need somebody new to handle that content thread.

Also, remember to link your Dynasty Wire story in this thread if that's the way you want to write your game review.

What a game. What a great birthday gift for my players to come out like that against freakin' Boise. On the very first play, we caused a fumble and took it in for 6. It got called back on a review, but still. My guys just played lights out. Jackson ran like a man possessed. In all honesty though, if the things that happened in that game had happened the other way around, I probably would've swore the game was cheating. They had 4 turnovers, 2 of them interceptions in the red zone. They also had a 70-something yard TD run called back for holding, and a long kickoff return called back for holding. My only turnover was a forced pass when I was going for a 4th and 6 from the Boise 33.

Vandals take this one in the disappointingly named "Battle for Idaho."

    WMU 35-EMU 10

Entertaining game for a half. EMU on their first possession stunned the crowd at Waldo Stadium with an early long run for a touchdown. WMU(nikpin) responded with an extremely well-executed drive and the game was underway. EMU was able to take a 10-7 lead in the second quarter and it looked as if they were going to keep it into the half, but EMU's quarterback Devontae Payne had other ideas throwing an interception when EMU should have just run the clock out in the half. WMU scored to make it 14-10 and it ultimately became a show of nikpin's diversified offense in the second half.

The Eagles had a few chances for some decent plays offensively through the passing game, but dropped passes and missed chances ended up ruling the day. Corey Welch though had his best game of the season with 114 yards rushing.

Nikpin played a very smart, efficient game(something that is not true of most at WMU).

GG, and on to N.C. State.

Army takes their first loss. 21-14 in a defensive struggle. Turnovers killed me and prime played a hell of a game

Wait, what the crap?! The dynasty wire had you playing Utah State and ULL vs UAB. I wonder if the CPU confused ULL and ULM and if that'll be a problem in the future.

Didn't know exactly what you wanted done with the top classes so I just posted it here.

I played EMU and won 35-10 as has already been discussed. I was going to write up a story about the game but dynasty wire was being crazy but I did upload two highlights. One was where his white RB housed a 76 yard run and the other was where he brought the house and I dumped it off to my FB for a 43 yard scamper. Link below...

Doesn't look like it, I can't catch up with Steamer yet. I'm actually ok with a sim if you want/need to advance.

    UTST 23 - ULM 20

Utah State edged ULM in a back and forth tight matchup. Utah State kicked the winning field goal with two minutes remaining in the 4th quarter and held on for the victory in Monroe. The Warhawks had two chances to tie the game after the field goal but QB Cody Wells threw an interception on the first drive. Then they ran out of downs after ULM got the ball back with 40 seconds remaining but couldn't advance the ball.
