Redd's FleXbox One just couldn't keep up with my Spread passing attack. I scored 21 in the second quarter to his 7 and his rushing attack didn't let him back in the ballgame.
Things looked rough to start for Kent QB Spencer Keith as his first throw of the game went for a pic 6, but he got things turned around with a 247.4 passer rating, 70% completion percentage, 4 TDs (to 3 different receivers) and 2 pics.
Gordon had a big day receiving with 6 for 140 and 2 TDs with 85 YAC. The Eagles had 0 drops recorded on the day.
UNLV drops to 1-4 while Kent looks to start the season off 5-0 vs FAU next week.
Dylan must have had a rough night last night... that or he just randomly gets extremely upset during NCAA games. I was frightened for his virtual players every time they made the tiniest of mistakes... poor guys.
Don't even think about running the power O more than 3 times against Dylan (even if it's out of several different formations) because he will work himself into a lather before declaring "cheese".
Yet he'll have 600 passing yards and negative rushing yards and it's just a high octane spread
Did I miss an edited post? I'm on my phone.
Power O is fine brah. Only thing I've ever told you was to mix up your playcalling and I told you that after the game.
Can't say I'm surprised to open a thread and see more bitching though. Seems that's all you guys want to do this year.
Sorry. We must have forgot the lol. Don't want you getting all butthurt.
Eat shit and die.
It's good to see the anger and hatred back in H4Y... Fuck you all
Weve got our work cut out this week to keep the hate goin bro.
What are you, new?
SJSU - 29
FAU - 14
This was just not Galt's game, at all. FAU QB David Kool was downright terrible, going 11/28 for 110 yards, with 0 TDs and 5 INTs. Florida Atlantic's offense in general couldn't really do anything, coming up with a big goose egg (0) in rushing yards, and if it weren't for a 70 yard prayer touchdown with :07 left in the game, the only scoring FAU would have had was a pick six and a safety. SJSU wasn't too much better offensively, with QB Matt Faulkner going 7/19 for 103 yards with 0 TDs and 3 INTs. Star HB Brandon Rutley put up 157 yards on 16 carries, thanks in large part to a 93 yard touchdown run to end the 3rd quarter, essentially putting the game out of reach for FAU. SJSU takes on MTSU next week.
Good game buddy. Your defense played great. And that TD I threw was my backup QB. That 0 yards rushing must have been because of all the sacks you got on me.
Looked like I was going to catch a break against Eastern Michigan up 14-0 and we got disconnected. Going to try again tonight.
New Mexico State Brings Home Golden Tomahawk
The battle for the golden tomahawk started slow, and somewhat boring. Much different than your typical Qwon vs Hammerhead coaching matchups the C-USA has grown accustomed to. New Mexico State was unable to get anything going on offense early and while New Mexico was moving the ball, they were unable to punch it into the endzone, instead settling for two early field goals.
Down 13-0 the Aggies drove with a must score attitude to close the gap going into the half. They did just that with :08 left on an 8yd pass from Matt Christian to WR Marcus Williams. The Aggies were unable to run off the entire clock in the first half like they planned however and were forced to kick off. A terrible squib gave the Lobos the ball at midfield with :06 seconds left. The Lobos attempted a quick hit to the slot to get the ball a little closer for one last heave but DB Samuel Oyenuga jumped the route, picked the pass, and took it untouched to the house from 63 yards out with no time left, clearly giving the Aggies the momentum, and a 14 point swing in 8 seconds giving them the 14-13 lead going into half.
The Aggies somehow had a lead going into half with only 71 yds total offense and a measly 3 minutes of possession.
The second half saw a totally different team as New Mexico State roared out scoring 5 TD's in the half. They started on their first drive when QB Christian took a hit but stood in long enough to throw the deep ball to WR Austin Franklin who made his defender confused and took it to the endzone for an 82 yd gain.
New Mexico kept it close for most of the 3rd but two unanswered scores in the 4th on the legs of HB Kenny Turner put the game out of reach. NMSU moves to 3-2 (2-1) on the year.

rivalry game in the middle of the year?
At least the rivalry is offical now though. Qwon and I always played like week 3 before. Week 6 is a treat.
