Still feeling their self after the big win last week. The Zips were put back into realility after another down to wire match against Buffalo at InfoCision Stadium. A shoot out from beginning to end Buffalo would stand victorious over The Akron Zips. Buffalo's head coach Mikedredd decision is the key play of the game scored with 20 seconds left in the game, down by one, a PAT ties it up.... No he goes for the lead.
The Zips would try to rally back. QB P. Nicely put together a nice drive to get akron into field goal range with 2 seconds left on the clock. Akron's Amos would attempt to win the game for the Zips from 31yds out...

Western Michigan slips past Ball State to move to 4-2. QB Alex Carder had a rare big passing day going 19/23, 383 yards 3 TD's and no ints. WMU also averaged over 4 yards on the ground.

More concerning to WMU was Ball State RB Michael Cox running through gaping holes totaling 163 yards on 18 carries and a TD.

WMU dominated time of possession almost 2:1, but still only won by 6 points. Coming after the loss to Akron, WMU will need to step up to survive their schedule.

Commish takes out CMU 66-34. Just waiting on Radio and Sox. From the looks of things it doesn't look like they will get their game in until tomorrow.

Checking in from sunny West Palm! Other than getting no sleep in the last 48 hours and wasting 3 hours on a meaningless drive to Fort Lauderdale and getting punked in our first game, it's been great. How we love the strippers...
