Our games not getting a recap?
hey fuck you guy
He said you weren't worthy of recapping.
Don't look now but behind the emergence of 5th yr running back Brady Earnhardt (no relation to Dale Jr.) and transfer QB Barry Brunetti Army moves to 5-0 on the year.
QB B. Brunetti 22-28 362 4TD 1INT.
DT Jeremy Phillips 5TKL 4Sack
Damn looks like the East might be rising up this year. 4 out of 6 w/o a loss so far.
Where the hell is the HOF announcement?
I know. Shame we have to all start beating up on each other here in the east in a couple of weeks.
Tomorrow, I'm letting the anticipation build.
In other words, you forgot?
ULaLa led all game except for 'winning time'. WKU pulled starting QB Alford in the 2nd quarter after overthrowing several big plays, completing only 4 of 11 and throwing 2 pics. JJ Lumpkin came in and did just fine immediately rushing 22 yards on a kept option for a TD. Lumpkin went 16 of 26 for 369 yards on the day while throwing another 2 TDs and not turning the ball over. On top of all that, Lumpkin showed a ton of heart while leading his team to a come from behind "JQwon" victory. The WKU rushing committee did just enough to get the job done as did the WKU defense. When asked if he had a new starting QB, coach DCD responded "Alford's our guy" but we can already hear the rumblings from the WKU faithful.
Another year, another loss to the new guy (no offense new guy). My team is garbage. He pretty much ran on my Dline at will. My QBs couldn't hit anything resembling a deep ball. and my secondary was there usual, mediocre self. My D is almost as bad as it was last year but my offense is 10x worse without Franklin. My best playmaker is a WR but he needs a QB. It's frustrating. This was one of those games where my offense got stagnant in the redzone and my D didn't force 1 fucking turnover. btw, neither of my turnovers where my fault: Alford had Griffin one on one for a deep ball but he horribly underthrew it, then he missed the slot on a post by a mile into the deep safety. I WANT WINNERS
I started out the game holding him to a 3 and out and then putting together a beautiful drive down the field that practically ate away the whole 1st quarter but, while talking to my brother, I missed a chip shot FG and that came back to haunt me as they usually do. His RB then proceeded to always fall forward (fucking gay) and his QB ran play actions vs a 6 man blitz and still had all day to throw. Before I knew it, I had spotted him a 24-7 lead before turning it on in the 2nd half and deciding to play as if I wasn't playing the new guy who I wanted to feel comfortable. Both QBs missed wide open WRs but Alford (4-9 104, 1/2) missed them right into Mid Tenn safeties' hands. and for the second straight week, I benched Alford for Lumpkin (15-21 302, 1/0). It's a safe bet it's Lumpkin's job.
gg JMan. You're a great addition. If I sound bitter at all it's because I've lost to the new guy almost every year. I even told you as much before we started.
And there goes the top 25 spot?
Eh, you'll still be in there probably
Damn it don't matter who's at MTSU they got that W vs Dylan.
Watch the highlight I uploaded. blitzing 6 vs PA. 3 lineman get pancaked. that shit happened all game vs PA. this game just felt surreal.
We should just have the MTSU spot open up at the beginning of every year so a new guy can come in and beat Dylan year after year after year after year after year
I like your style. Sorry JMan but you're a one year experiment.
where was this team last week
Damnit I'm about 3-4 plays away from being 6-0
I think we'll be set to advance later tonight right?
The last game of the week is in the 1st quarter. UAB-EMU elected for the sim. Let's go Crumb!
Potato Magic strikes again as he good guys pull it out 34-31. The win vaults the Vandals into the top 25 for the first time ever. And at just the perfect time with back to back games against WKU and WMU looming. If I can win one I should still be in the driver's seat for the West. Bigger writeup later but I is tired.
GG man, thought I could pull the upset but your talent won out in the end
