    POWER RANKINGS

We've got 2 new coaches. 1 is Michigan who is 5-0 and is still as National Championship contender. And the other take LSU (1-2) who has lots of talent and can still compete in the SEC since they have no SEC losses. I still don't get how EA has Ohio State as #2 after what like 35-40 straight wins.

its only 32 straight...this is a good season to get me though, my QB cant hit the broad side of a damn barn. Plus, by the time we play, Penn State may already have beaten me. The end of my reign may just be coming to an end due to damn dirty Penn State out recruiting me for two straight seasons. You'd think 2 straight titles would warrant at least a few more guys wanting to come to columbus..

    Players of the Week

    ROLB Austin Banks
    San Diego State
    15 tkls, 7 TFL, 8 solo, 2 sks, FF, 2 FR

Austin Banks was all over the field last week. He was able to rack up a total of 15 tackles, 7 of which were behind the line of scrimmage. He was a pass rushing menace the entire game with two sacks. He laid a big hit on the ball carrier and was able to force a turn over. He also jumped on two fumbles. Banks was all over the field and a dominate force all game, earning him PotW honors, but it was not enough to get the win against Rice.

    WR Michael Bower
    Oregon
    16 rec, 335 yds, 5 TD

Michael Bower had one of the best performances anyone at his position has ever had in a victory over Stanford. His play was the single most important factor in Oregon's victory. He caught 61% of Oregon's completed passes for the day. He averaged over 9 yards after the catch, which helped him make big plays like a 47 yard TD. He averaged over 20 yards per reception and was able to score an astonishing 5 TDs, making him responsible for over half of Oregon's points.

    Week 6
    gameopfweekicon.jpg

As week 6 kicks off in RMG conference play is already underway , in a somewhat uneventful week in college football this weeks game of the week is an easy choice...... Pitt Panthers travel to Cincinnati this week to take on the # 10 ranked Bearcats. Pitt is coming off of 3 straight losses and seem to be floundering with Freshman QB Tony Nash at the helm, who was actually pulled in a week 5 ugly loss to Rutgers. Cincy is coming off of a blowout victory over Boise State , and is looking to get a key rivalry win in conference. Cincy has a few injuries in the front four and may be susceptible to the run this week, but unfortunately for Pitt that has not been an easy task this season. Pittsburgh has 4 new starters on the o-line, 3 of which are true freshman and starting RB Junior Flowers is out. Rivalry games are always crazy and anything could happen, but this should be too much of a track-meet for the Panthers to keep up, I look for Cincy to pull away in the second half, 35-17 Bearcats.

It's about time I got some recruits.

Too bad most of them will not be ready until after 2012 drops.
