    #11 Kansas 17
    #6 Texas 10

This game was won mostly because of SS Bradley McDougald. Last season McDougald had 10 interceptions and he had 2 through 3 games this year. McDougald today was able to intercept 4 passes, including 2 in the 4th quarter, which allowed Kansas to run out the clock despite having a difficult time moving the ball. Case McCoy did have 237 passing yards, but his 5 interceptions were the difference in the game. The wind played a factor in the game as Kansas was able to win the field position battle in the 4th quarter. Kansas went into the half trailing 10-7 but were very confident in their defense. They were able to sustain a few drives and James Sims had a big game on just 13 carries, but he broke off a few nice runs.

Mike Cummings (QB)- 12-20 for 113 yards, TD, INT
James Sims (HB)- 13 carries for 124 yards
Darrian Miller (HB)- 9 carries for 56 yards
DJ Beshears (WR)- 4 receptions for 45 yards, TD
Bradley McDougald (SS)- 6 tackles, TFL, 4 INT

Case McCoy (QB)- 14-31 for 237 yards, TD, 5 INT
Malcolm Brown (HB)- 9 carries for 25 yards
Dominique Jones (TE)- 5 receptions for 104 yards
Marquisse Goodwin (WR)- 2 receptions for 44 yards, TD
Kenny Vaccaro (FS)- 9 tackles, 2 TFL, sack, INT

Didn't even notice, McDougald got hurt on his last play :(. Looks like he's out 3 weeks. Ugh I won't have him for the OU game and he has 16 INT's in a total of 17 games I've played with him.

    FSU dominates on the road

The Seminoles blew out the Wolfpack in Raleigh thanks to their outstanding running game and some timely passes through the air. The game was tied at 7 entering the 2nd quarter where FSU exploded for 21 points. WR Kenny Kenny Shaw had a great quarter as he had 122 yards receiving on just 2 catches with his first catch going 65 yards for a touchdown and his second preceding a 16 yard run by redshirt freshman Devonta Freeman. Chris Thompson had his second touchdown of the game in the 3rd quarter to cap off a day where he gained 163 yards rushing on only 10 carries to give FSU a commanding 34-7 lead heading into the final quarter.

In the 4th the FSU once again had a 21 point quarter this time with the backups at the helm. Freeman had his second rushing TD of the game this time from 46 yards out. He finished the day with 88 yards on 7 carries and looks like the early favourite to become the new starting tailback next year. QB Clint Trickett continued his perfect season going 3/3 for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns. The first of which was setup by a beautiful one handed interception by CB Keeling Smith.

Next week the Seminoles travel to Miami to take on the Hurricanes and look to make freshman QB Geremy Palmer pay for choosing the Canes over FSU last year.

    Mcgee Saves The Day

The Hurricanes Brandon Mcgee saved the day today with his two crucial picks one in the red zone and one returned for a TD and Lamar Miller had a Lamar Miller day rushing for 171 yards on 21 carries. One of the carries was a 81 yard touchdown run. Geremy Palmer had a tough outing throwing 4 picks all of which were just young mistakes.

    A Huge Victory!

Oklahoma played poor host to the Cowboys this week in the annual Bedlam Series. Oklahoma had it going on both sides of the ball, with the run game leading the offensive attack. Not much to say about this one as the score speaks for itself. The lone Oklahoma State score came on a 58 yard scamper by HB Herschel Sims with :48 remaining in the game. Other than that touchdown, the OU defense smothered the Cowboy offense; the Cowboys only passed for 69 yards and did not find the red zone at all.
The big story in this one is the long-awaited debut of HB Brandon Williams. After redshirting last season, and not appearing in any games prior to this one, Williams showed why he is so highly anticipated, and showed great hope for the future. Young Mr. Williams rushed for 168 yards and 2 TD on only 15 carries. His mix of speed and athleticism will undoubtedly give Big 12 foes fits for years to come.
Next week, OU travels to Tuscaloosa for a top-5 match-up with the Crimson Tide. That one has national title implications and should be a battle for the ages.

Clemson wins easily, Coach Keves still not impressed

Though Clemson played its best game on both sides of the ball in a 31-0 win over Duke, Coach Keves wasn't that impressed.
"I feel like we have great talent on both sides of the ball, but something is missing and I don't get it. It can't be me because I'm a fucking genius, but something is off so far."
Clemson scored the only pts of the first quarter when Mike Bellamy broke a sweep for a 58 yd run. In the 2nd, Tahj Boyd aired it out and found Bryce McNeal for a 50 yd strike. They also added a late FG to lead 17-0 at the half.
In the 2nd, Clemson's D was stifling and they added 2 solid TDs. First, Boyd found Sammy Watkins for a 37 yd strike. Then, after everyone was covered, Boyd ran up the middle untouched from 13 yds.

Florida takes down Ole Miss 40-6.

Florida uses its running game to control the Rebels and secure the win at home. Soph Mack Brown would rack up another 100+ yards and 2 scores. On the defensive side, LE/LOLB Ronald Powell would record 5 tackles and 2 sacks leading the Gators D to an impressive win over an SEC opponent.
