Week 6: Houston 33, Kansas City 27 (OT)

Houston, TX - Even though the game ended with the Chiefs raising their loss total, Todd Haley and company will take a moral victory away from Reliant Stadium after a 33-27 loss in overtime to the powerful Texans.

After falling into a 14-0 hole, the Chiefs fought back to take a 17-14 lead, and go into halftime tied at 17. Fumbles keyed the Chiefs comeback and helped them to a 24-17 lead in the third quarter. Houston cut it to 4 with a field goal, but the Chiefs offense couldn't get things rolling late in the 3rd quarter and into the 4th quarter as Houston grabbed a 27-24 lead.

The Chiefs drove the field late in the game, pushing for a touchdown but had were held to a game-tying field goal.

The overtime period saw the Chiefs go 3 and out, Houston fumble the ball away, Kansas City drive close to field goal range before Cassel threw an interception that ultimately led to an Andre Johnson game-winning touchdown.

It was a really good back and forth game. 5 fumbles by the Texans kept them in a hole and, at times, the Texans had no answer for the passing game of the Chiefs. I enjoyed playing against SubK very much and appreciate his style of play. I look forward to playing him again in the future.
