Niners once again dominant on defense, allowing no TD's and one yard on the ground.

San Francisco was able to put up the only points in the 1st quarter, with a 19yd run by RB Gore, and a 23yd pass to WR Morgan. Newly signed CB Asher Allen, whom the Vikings recently cut, had a big pick in the 2nd quarter, which led to points and a 17-3 lead at the half.

A pick fest ensued for Chicago in the 2nd half, leading to TD's by Gore, and rookies WR Greydon and RB Woods. SF's defense never allowed the Bears a shot in this one, final score 38-6.

    Offensive Player of the Game - RB Frank Gore 20atts 125yds 1 TD; 2recs 27yds 1 TD
Defensive Player of the Game - CB Asher Allen 3tkls, 1 int, multiple deflections
