    Week 6: Panthers 38 @ Buccaneers 24

    "Panthers improve to 3-2"

This week the Carolina Panthers headed into Tampa Bay for Divisional matchup.

1st Quarter: Panthers Jumped to a early lead, with an 18 yard TD from Delhomme to B.Hoover. Later in the first Panthers were driving again. This time the Bucs Defense manage to stifle the Panthers offense and hold them to just a FG. Buc's finally answer with a great drive, moving the ball quickly down the field. With less then 2 minutes left in the first J.Freeman hooked up with newly acquired TE C.Cooley for a 31 yard touchdown. (10-7).

2nd Quarter: Panthers came right back after the Bucs score pounding the ball with D.Williams. The Panthers get to the goal line where J.Delhomme sneaks the ball in from 1 yard out. (17-7) Bucs get the ball a start moving slowly down the field. Panthers D got some pressure on Freeman and forced T.B to settle for 3. (17-10) Panthers come right back on their next drive, again just pounding D.Williams into the Bucs defense. Then on a huge play with just under 2 minutes until half Delhomme stays in the pocket and takes a huge hit but found S.Smith Deep over the middle in the end zone for a TD. (24-10) Panthers get a Int on the Bucs next drive and are able to add another 3 before half. (27-10)

3rd Quarter: Panthers get the ball first in the 2nd half and quickly move down the field. The Bucs Defense held and just gave up another FG. (30-10) On the ensuing kickoff, Tampa's Eddie Royal look the kick 5 yards deep in his own endzone and took it all the way for a TD. (30-17) Again Panthers answer Tampa score moving the ball down the field, until Delhomme find A.Bryant (who they got from the Bucs at the start of the year) on a 27 yard touchdown play. Panthers go for 2 and get it. (38-17)

4th Quarter: Not much happened in the 4th. The Bucs put up another TD. Again J.Freeman finding C.Cooley for a 11 yard TD. (38-24) Panthers then drained the clock by running the ball. 2 punts by the panthers and 2 int's thrown by TB capped the rest of the 4th quarter.

    Final Score: Panthers 38 @ Buccaneers 24

    Panthers:
    Offense:
    J.Delhomme - 13/17 3TDs 192yards
    D.Williams 32carries for 218yards
    S.Smith 2recs 1TD 44yards
    A.Bryant 4recs 1TD 67yards

    Defense: 4int's 1 sack

Overall good game by Gatornation. If he gets a good QB on his team he could do damage.

Watch out for Julius peppers, he can jump 15ft in the air. Good synopsis and a tough loss for slumping bucs. Will tim tebow save the bucs?
