Texas wins the Rer River Rivalry behind a strong first half passing game and a solid 2nd half rushing attack. The Sooners were no match for the WR crew of Kirkendoll, Williams, Chiles, and Williams. Garrett Gilbert was 13-18 for 348 yards and 4 Tds as the passing game and broken tackles destroyed the Sooners.

    Alabama handles Boston College, 42-21.

Ingram and Richardson continue to do work on the ground behind solid offensive line play. Star Jackson, was a nonfactor in the game as he only threw for 128 yards and an INT. Defensively, we once again struggled to defend the pass as BC put together some nice drives.

A win is a win, but I am still not pleased on the way we are playing. Our WRs continue to drop multiple passes and Jackson has been mediocre at best.

Next up for the Tide: Week 7 vs. Ole Miss.

The new #1 team in the nation, LSU Tigers goes to Nashville and take down the Vanderbilt Commodores. The offense struggled a bit, but the defense was stingy once again and the result was never really in doubt, just the margin of victory.

    Detailed write-up to come.
