-Cougars- when can you play? Do you live in Korea?

I'll post this in the appropriate thread, but I'm using my 1 playbook change to declare myself a no-huddle team.

finally getting on track! two outstanding performances in a row for the Utes heading into conference play. We made soem adjustments over our first bye week and now the offense is clicking. Sure, this was only Utah State but it was a statement win. Cox looked outstanding on his way to 383 yards and 3 TDs. He has really worked lately to improve his mobility and extend plays rather then get rushed into an interception. He is also spreading the ball around well. Johnson is still the top of the list with his size and ability but this game was Freshman Damon Davis' breakout performance. Even though Johnson had 2 scores and 132 yards, Cox worked the freshman for 7 grabs and 151 yards today. Setzer also pulled down a touchdown
But this was a record breaking game. Senior HB Andre Newton broke the single game school record for rushing yards with a monster 254 yard rushing day with 4 TDs on just 15 carries! I dont know if I have ever seen a Utah running back tear through a defense like he did today.
The Ute defense stepped it up again. Daniel Banks looks back into top notch form with a nice 2 sack day and forcing pressure often. Jimmie Thompson also reached Chuckie Keeton for a sack. Filling in as #1 CB, Craig Mitchell nabbed an interception today, his first of the year. Freshman LB Derron Kiniry led the team in tackles but also forced another fumble which senior Terrell Reese scooped and scored.

big win for moral purposes of the Utes who looked lost during the first two weeks of the year.
Through 4 games, Cox averages over 300 yards per game and is almost back to a 1:1 TD:INT ratio after the horrendous start.
Newton is just 60 yards away from a career season high.
Davis is the only WR with a catch this year and no TDs
Johnson, Oliver and Smith have a combine 16 grabs and 9 TDs
Smith is 10/11 on FGs, only missing a 61 yard attempt.

    #2 Washington ( fuzzyl0gic ) @ #13 Oregon State ( MNoffke ) should be a GREAT game.

Arizona had an INCREDIBLE upset over UCLA and Coach -Cougars- with a great performance by Heisman contending RB Hall! Congrats to BakerWildcat7 , he's hung in there and it's starting to pay off. At 3-1 , his first bowl bid could be on the horizon! Arizona travels to face Coach Philstyle3005 in Boulder. Should be a good matchup, can Arizona nab two straight user upsets?

UCLA will be looking to lick their wounds, but it won't come easy against an 0-3 Washington State squad that will be fighting with a ton of motivation to get their first win. Coach MurkYa21 will have his team ready to go. A great battle of two good passing attacks.

Some exciting matchups this week... wish I had a game! :)

    Arizona 14

Colorado controlled this game from start to finish only making one real mistake in the game and it came in the 1st half when the Buffaloes threw a 1st down pick on the 20 yard line that could have led to at least 3 points before the half. Other than that miscue, Colorado played the best they had all season. The Buffaloes started the game off 21-0 before allowing a run to the left to break free for a 59 yard touchdown. Colorado would answer though before the half with a 56 yard pass on a big 3rd down to take the lead 28-7 going into the half. They would add to their lead in the 3rd with a long run from Rashad Hall to make it 35-7 going into the 4th. Arizona would answer on a screen pass and then force Colorado to a punt, but that punt landed at the Arizona 6 yard line. 2 plays later, the Arizona QB threw his 2nd pick 6 of the day to the same guy who caught the 1st one, who took it 5 yards for the touchdown and the exclamation point on a win, 42-14. Rashad Hall had another great performance rushing for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Buffaloes defense forced 5 interceptions on the day, two of which were pick 6's from Walden. The Buffaloes head to Stanford next week to continue Pac 12 play and look to continue to defend their undefeated season thus far.
