    UB 14 Akron 7

UB started slow on offense throwing an interception on their 3rd offensive play of the game. This led to an Akron TD. Defense played excellent after that. The defense led the way with 5 sacks, 1 Int, allowed 126 total yards, 3 of them were rushing.

Thermilius led the offense with 188 yards rushing in the wet pouring conditions. He also had the game tying TD, in which he blew up a defender on his way to the end zone.

DuBois had 2 sacks leading the defense.

Nevada (4-1) traveled to visit the surging Idaho Vandals (5-1)

    1st Qtr
Nevada's senior RB, VAI TAUA could-not-be-stopped. This 1st qtr was an absolute joke and embarrassment to the Idaho defense as Taua scored on the opening play of the game, a 64 yd, 3 broken tackle rumble. Taua would also score on runs of 39 yds and 47 yds in this very same qtr. The Idaho Vandal defense was playing 5 down linemen, saftey Shiloh Keo was cheating in and yet Taua was just blasting thru everybody. The qtr would end on back to back returned kick offs for TD's, one by each team.
End of 1st qtr score : Idaho 21 Nevada 34

    2nd Qtr
The Vandals revised their defensive scheme and managed to slow down Taua. Essentially the Vandals alternated between 5 man fronts and a 3-4 scheme to show some different looks. They played less aggressive against the run with no bump and run and this was enough to keep Taua out of the secondary. Idaho's starting HB, Deonte Jackson, got knocked out for a few qtrs, so back up RB PRINCETON MCCARTY stepped in and helped the Vandals run a ball control offense.
End of 2nd qtr score : Idaho 35 Nevada 41

    3rd Qtr
McCarty led the way thru the 3rd qtr slamming time and again into the line getting 1st down after first down for the Vandals. This type offense was the Vandals best solution in keeping Nevada's TAUA off the field. The Vandals shut Nevada out in the 3rd qtr...
End of 3rd qtr score : Idaho 49 Nevada 41

    4th Qtr
The 4th qtr would see Nevada score a TD and miss a 2 pt conversion which would have tied the game. Idaho safties Cook and Keo both came up with key INTs to keep the precious 2 pt lead. That's the way this one would end as the Vandals win a huge conference game on national TV... scrapping their way back into the game after an insane 1st qtr

    FINAL SCORE : Idaho 49 Nevada47

    Bowling Green @ Ohio

ATHENS, Oh -- After a huge early season upset of ranked TCU, the Bowling Green Falcons have lost four straight to move to 1-4 . Ohio's running game was way too much for BG to handle. OU rushed for 276 yards on 34 carries along with 4 touchdowns to give the Bobcats an easy 45 - 7 win at home.

Coach RYTY will have to do something quickly to turnaround the season or his stay in BG could be VERY short!

    Key Stats -

    Nothing of significance

RB D. Harden - 17 attempts for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns. 3 receptions for 89 yards and 1 touchdown.
RB V. Davidson - 11 attempts for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. (11 broken tackles)

    SDSU 31-21 UNLV

San Diego State goes to Vegas and comes up aces. The Aztecs defeated their 2nd straight rival, taking down the Runnin' Rebels 31-21. The game was costly as they lost leading rusher Brandon Sullivan for a month with a bruised shoulder. Sullivan's injury was a turning point for the Aztecs, who lost the lead for the first time in the game on the Rebels ensuing possession falling behind 21-17. Davon Brown would then score his 2nd and 3rd touchdowns of the game earning Player of the Game honors, rushing for 126 yards on 18 carries. Defensive end BJ Williams led the defense with 7 tackles, 5 for a loss, and 2 sacks.

The Aztecs improve to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in conference and face another tough text next week when they travel to Salt Lake City to face the 3-2 Utah Utes who are undefeated in Mountain West play at 2-0.

    Rivarly renewed!

New Air Force head coach, bladeless, began his tenure at the helm against rival CSU. His first game was against coach h22apwr22d. It was a true defensive game, dont let the score fool you.

    1st qtr:
All CSU with an opening drive that ended in a 27 yd TD pass to Pauga.Air Force couldn't come with any points off the pro style version of their gameplan. CSU second drive started good but slowed down to a stopped and had to punt the ball to Air Force; where the Falcons would have time for one more play to end the 1st qtr.

    2nd qtr:
The last play of the 1st was the beginning was an unbelievable18 play drive that lasted over 6 minutes! The fleXbox One was put into use and it delivered great results, with a TD run by FB Tew to finish off that amazing drive. With 50 secs left in the half, CSU started off with a bang, with a 19 yd scamber by Mosure. Coach h22apwr22d totally caught the Falcon defense off caught with that call. CSU K made his FG as the half ended.

    3rd qtr:
Another long and time consuming drive to start the second half, by Air Force, that ended in a 1 yd TD run by Clark. CSU responded by breaking off a huge 63 yd pass to TE peitz. But however they were unable to put the ball into the endzone and had to settle for another FG.

    4th qtr:
Too bad of play calling resulted in Aire Force's second punt of the day and CSU would do the same. up 14-13, Air Force tried to do what they were able to all game, chew up some clock. After a delay of game penalty to start the drive off, Aire Force gained a very important 1st down, with 2 passes, a 6 yd and 11 yd. Business as usual after that but with a min left to go, Star HB Stephens fumbled the ball and CSU recovered it. With 55 ticks left and no timeouts to call their own, CSU set out to drive down the field to kick the game winning FG. But after an incompletion, CSU TE Peitz fumbled the ball in midair, after taking a big hit and S Davis picked the ball off for the game sealing TD return. CSU's Hail Mary attempt was stopped, via a sack, to end the game.

    Final Score: 21-13 Air force

    Notable stats:
HB S. Stephens 18-76 yds 33 yds after first contact
    FB J. Tew 10-37 yds 1 TD
    HB A. Clark 5-26 yd 1 TD

    QB K. Kubiak 10-15 178 yds 1 TD 1 INT 3 sacks
HB J. Mosure 12-62 yd 35 yds after first contact
    TE E. Peitz 2 rec 73 yds
    FS E. Smith 11 tackles

    Total Offense:
    AF - 230
    rushing - 41-146 yd-2 TD
    Passing - 8-9 84 yd 0 TD

    CSU - 229
    rushing - 18-51 yd
    passing - 10-15 178 yd 1 TD

    AF - 15:02
    CSU - 8:58

This was a great game. I can tell that this is going to be a great rivarly down the road.
