    Texas A&M Wins 35-32

The ground game is very strong for A&M while the passing game is lacking.

    More to come

    VOLS HOLD OFF GEORGIA
    Big test passed for Vols

Fr SS Sam King gets Vols rolling with pick-6.
Tennessee kept its SEC East hopes alive with a big victory in Athens over the Georgia Bulldogs, 21-18. Their was a looming dread all week for the Vol offense. In it's win last week, Sr HB and only real offensive weapon, Marlin Lane, Was lost for the year with a broken vertebrate. That left diminuitive Sr return man Devrin Young to carry the load. He did an admirable job against a good UGA defense with 98 yards on 25 carries while bulldozing soph Vincent Graham added 38 yards on 9 carries.
Defensively, the Vols had one of their best games in the last 3 seasons. Georgia QB Mason was held to just 4-14 passing for 58 yards and 2 INT's. 3 of those 4 completions were checkdowns to RB's and the other was a duck into double coverage that their TE just made a fantastic catch. Georgia was able to run the ball effectively however.
Tennessee improves to 5-1 (3-1) and now has a week off to rest.

    Wild West Shootout

The Tigers (4-0) outlast unranked North Carolina.
DEATH VALLEY- The North Carolina Tar Heels gave the Tigers all they could handle, but Clemson prevailed in the end winning 45-41. UNC jumped out to a commanding 7-0 on a long td pass from QB Marquise Williams to Lawrence Wilson. After holding the Clemson offense in check, The UNC passing game struck again, giving the Tar Heels a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter. Not knowing what hit them, Coach BG knew he had to get some points on the board or the game would get out of hand real quick. Clemson's insuing possession would result in points by way of a field goal. UNC would answer in a flash with an 102yd kickoff return for a td. North Carolina led 21-3 with just over 2:48 remaining before the half. The next sequence of events was quite remarkable. Each team would score a combined 28 points in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds (21 of which were scored by the Tigers) to cut UNC's lead to just 4 at intermission.
The second half saw pretty much the same as the first as the team with the final possession would come out on top. North Carolina gave a valiant effort but it was not to be against The Clemson Tigers. Clemson's RS Freshman QB Chad Hall lead his team to victory completing 16 of his 24 passing attempts for 311 yds and 3 td passes to just 1 int. Nearly three WR's on offense accounted for 100 receiving each. MLB Stephone Anthony lead the defense with 6 solo stops.
