I bet your asking yourself, "Who the heck is Adroby Peterhart?"

Well, I will let you in on a little secret. Adroby Peterhart, is the Minnesota Vikings elite HB duo of ADRian PETERson & TOBY GerHART, that was unleashed this past Sunday, when the Vikings met the Rams.

On the opening drive, Vikes QB Eli Manning would find one half of the aforementioned duo on a screen pass and AP would do the rest and take it 46-yds for TD.

The Viking defense would force a Rams turnover and Manning would convert on his 2nd TD pass of the quarter, this time on a 14-yd pass and catch to WR Mohammed Massaquoi.

Early in the 2nd quarter on a 3 & short, the 2nd half of the tandem made his appearance. HB Toby Gerhart would take a HB Dive and rumble and bumble right through the heart of the Rams defense and eventually find pay dirt 71-yds later. This would be Gerhart's longest run as a Viking.

The Rams would find their legs and put a drive together as young QB Chris Robinson would find rookie phenom TE Sanjay Nash for a 22-yd TD pass.

On the Vikings next possession, Adrian Peterson would not be outshined by his counterpart as he takes an offtackle left 76-yds for the score.

Robinson would again lead the Rams on a beautiful TD drive, this time it would be HB Jhavid Best taking it in from 2-yds out. On the ensuing kickoff, Vikings roookie KR Reidell Trapp would find a lane to the outside and return the kickoff 101-yds for his first TD as a NFL player. The Rams would commit a huge turnover with less than :30 on the 2nd quarter clock and the Vikings would capitalize as Peterson would cash in on his 3rd TD of the first half, this time from 5-yds.

The Vikings came out of the 2nd half locker room with the mentality of playing smart injury free football. Peterson only saw a handful of carries and on defense the Vikings allowed for back-ups to get some playing time. The Rams would take advantage of this as they were able to move the football at will in the 2nd half. Robinson would throw for three 2nd half TDs as the Vikings were only able to convert on 3 Steven Hauschka FGs. But the 28 pt defecit was too much for the Rams to overcome. The final gun sounded and the Vikings left with the 51-35 win & improve to 4-2 and a 2-game lead in the NFC North.

The Vikings finished the day with 238 rushing yards on 32 carries. Peterson had 129 and Gerhart ended up with 104 yds.

Eli Manning had a pedestrian day as he only attempted 10 passes, connecting on 6 of them. 2 for TDs.

Rams QB Chris Robinson finished the day with 396-yds through the air and 4 TDs but did throw 3 ints.

GG Dbnull. I had some big plays early that allowed this game to get away from you quick.

    GL rest of year.
