    Week 6

Stanford Cardinal gets a big win on the road in Washington. Turnovers plagued the Huskies all game long, and eventually led to their downfall in the 45-24 loss. The Huskies had 5 turnovers in the ball game, and Stanford was able to turn those turnovers into 24 points, with 2 INT's returned for a TD and 1 fumble returned for a TD, and one that led to a FG by Winston.

QB Andrew Marshall was 13 of 18 for 209 yards with 1 INT
RB Boyd had 51 yards rushing with 3 TD's and 27 receiving yards

The defense was led by Woods with 14 tackles with 3 for losses.

The game was tied at 17 at the half, and at 24 heading into the 4th quarter, but after Stanford scored the go ahead TD on a Boyd 1 yard run with 5:43 left to play, the Huskies had 2 turnovers on their next 2 drives to close out the game with the final score of Stanford 45, Washington 24.

Michigan crushes rival Minnesota to retain the "Little Brown Jug" 63-0, improving to 2-0 in the Big 10 and 3-2 overall. Quarterback Lamar Davis, running back Thomas Davis, and wide receiver Ryan Smith all had big games for the Wolverines. Up next, the Wolverines will battle in-state rival Michigan State for the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
