I'm gonna go ahead and post last week's in here cuz otherwise it wouldn't get read...Then I'll add this weeks later.

The 3-2 Golden Flashes rolled into Logan, Utah on a bit of a down note after a surprising loss to UAB. Kent State really needed a win, but it would be tough sledding against a Utah State team that went to the conference championship game.

Coach JQwon decided the best way to slow down the Aggie offense, was to not let them have the ball. And Kent St. dominated time of possession 18:10 compared to 9:50 by Utah St. The credit there goes to running back JacQuise Terry who ran the ball 28 times for 123 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown would come at the end of the first quarter for a 7-0 Kent St. lead. Utah St would respond with a field goal late in the 2nd quarter to make it 7-3 at half. The 3rd quarter would be more defense as the only score was a Kent St field goal to make it 10-3 heading to the fourth.

Then with 4 minutes left in the game, Kent St receiver Sam Kirkland would make a juggling catch before taking it 28 yards to the house and a 17-3 lead. The Kent St. defense held strong all night but finally got caught with their pants down as Utah St. would hit them for a 55 yard touchdown on a screen pass. However, they wouldn't be able to stop Kent St from moving the ball on the next drive and the Golden Flashes were able to run out the clock.

Leading the defense for Kent St was star middle linebacker Adam Collins. While he admits his poor performance last week against UAB was partially due to his mind being distracted by off the field issues including rape charges, he came out with something to prove against the Aggies. And he may soon face on the field rape charges for what he did to Aggie quarterback, Trevor Brown. Collins sacked him twice. Then Brown attempted to scramble one play and jumped into the air before being absolutely hammered by Collins. After the game, Collins was asked about the hit.

"You see dat shit? Aw damn, I lit dat cracka up. Motha fucka think twice before he run again. Bitch ain't gonna sleep tonight. We run dis town now. Adam Collins be da president of Logan, Utah. I'm King of da white people! WE fuckin white women tonight!"

An excellent game between the Golden Flashes and Aggies and a special good luck to Mr. Collins tonight.

fwiw, it shows the threads that have new posts and I read all those as well as most people I think. If the 'T' on the left hand of the screen is red then there are new posts.

Through 4 games of conference play Crumb is the only one to put any points on the board when he kicked a 19 yard FG in the 2nd Quarter. This game was just more of the same as MTSU was absolutely dominated. My backups played a majority of the game as my starting QB and RB are both hurt but should be back for my key late season conference games. Dynasty wire says that They passed for 60 yards and ran for 4 but yet got 10 first downs and I just don't see that really being the case.

I posted a few of the entertaining highlights from the game. WMU 48 MTSU 0
