    FIU 44- SJSU 6

A blondeless SJSU team gives my team all of the breaks they will receive all year in 7 turnovers. My team was completely on from the get go and we won't go winless this year. Yay.

DirtycashDylan Looks like we've just got Galt and Fever's user game (they're supposed to play tonight) and Steamer's CPU game.

Survived USF when I had all of my recruits in. Had a pretty solid early lead at 28-10 but they scored with a minute to go to make 35-33. I stopped them on the two point conversion when a DB knocked down a pass and recovered the onside kick. They had two TO's so I had to get a first down to ice it. Converted on 3rd down and that was ball game.

MTSU Pulls Off Upset over #6 TCU

With two consecutive bye weeks, the MTSU Blue Raiders had 3 weeks of preparation for the 6th ranked TCU Horned Frogs. After some struggles early in the season, Mack and Graham got the offense clicking once again, and the Blue Raider defense held strong. Stephon Mack got momentum going early when he broke off a 70 yard run untouched for a touchdown. Then Will Davis connected to Courtney Graham for a 29 yard touchdown to take an early 14-0 lead. TCU fumbled the ensuing kick-off, and Davis found his 6-foot-5 target for a second time, taking a 21-nothing lead. TCU struggled offensively, and MTSU got the ball back, with Davis finding an open Christian Collis for a 43 yard touchdown to go up 28-0. The TCU offesne finally got going, and MTSU went into halftime with a 35-10 lead.

TCU opened the second half on a long drive that had to be settled with a field goal. On the ensuing kickoff, Stephon Mack juked through a crowd of Horned Frog defenders, and find the open room for a 102 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The 42-13 lead would put any doubts of the upset to rest.

Stephon Mack and Courtney Graham are co-players of the game. Mack had 112 rushing yards and 2 TDs on just 9 carries. He also had 64 punt return yards, and the 102 yard Kick return, bringing his total to 3 TDs on the day. Courtney Graham had 6 receptions for 85 yards and 2 TDs.

MTSU improves to 4-1, and hosts UNLV next week, before a bus trip to rival Memphis the following week.

Memphis beats Florida Atlantic 27-7 in CUSA opener.

A promising first drive ended abruptly when a pass from Brandon Blount found a FAU corner instead of intended receiver TE Charles Quinn. Quinn couldn't run him down and the Owls' pick 6 had them with an early lead. That would be their last points of the game. Casey Calvin continues his impressive season, running for 170 yards on 22 carries with 2 TDs.

But the real story of the game was the Tiger defense, which had nearly as many turnovers (5) as first downs allowed (7). They held the FAU running game to 11 yards on 15 attempts as well. They also harassed the FAU qb all day as well. Fun game and a solid win for the Tigers, who remain undefeated and unranked.
