And a win this week will put Arky State in the top 25 for the first time in a LONG LONG time. I'm actually ahead of Utah State (and should be :p) in the additional votes section

    Arky St. - 59
    #25 ULL - 56

The Red Wolves got a miracle last few minutes against ULL, and survived against the Ragin' Cajuns in quite the shootout. QB Dennis Johnson threw for 479 yards and 5 TD on the ULL defense, and HB Adam Dean ran for 109 yards and 3 TD. Unfortunately for ULL they lost starting QB Josh Wright and HB Titus Cox midway through the game, which allowed the Arky State defense to get a few stops when necessary.

The Red Wolves took a 24-21 lead with less than a minute left in the 2nd quarter when the fireworks started. ULL threw up a prayer, and after it got tipped by Arky State the receiver came down with it on the 27 yard line, and Trey Van consequently found a receiver with no time remaining, who broke 3 tackles before running into the endzone. Then Arky State blocked the PAT, but of course the way this game was headed ULL holder picked it up and walked in for the 2-pt conversion. Both teams traded TDs in the 2nd half until late in the 4th, when Arky State (down 56-44) put together a string of passes to get into the end zone with just under 3 minutes left. A 2-pt conversion made it 56-52 ULL, and Arky State could not recover the onside kick. ULL broke a huge run on the first play of the drive, but a holding call pulled it back to a 1st and 20, when the Ragin' Cajuns fumbled it and the Red Wolves recoverd. With renewed life, Arky State had the chance for the lead. Instead, a pass to a wide open receiver was dropped, and fell into the hands of a ULL LB. The game appeared to be over, ULL just had to force Arky to use their timeouts and get a first down. It came down to a 3rd and 2, where Arky State brought Gaps Fire out of a goal line formation, expecting the run. Instead Snoop elected to go for the quick slant, which I read perfectly with the FS and intercepted, returning it all the way to the ULL 9 yard line, allowing us to wind down the clock and force ULL to use all their timeouts. On 3rd and goal from the 7, a pass got us to the 1 yard line, and Adam Dean looked to be caught in the backfield on 4th and goal, but spun away from the defender and into the end zone. Up 59-56, the defense came out and forced 3 straight incompletions before ULL got a bomb to midfield, but time expired, and Arky State, for the first time ever, beats 2 ranked teams in consecutive weeks, and 3 in a year. GG snoop

Ya and kinda by accident lol I was pissed and just ran at his kicker from the side angle (I thought I was offsides because I started running WAY early but apparently timed it perfectly)

yeah soon as wright got knocked out I knew I was in trouble, cox getting knocked out was awful but singletary getting knocked out was the worst. Trey Van played admirably for a backup frosh but he was no Josh Wright

Utah State Steals W From #15 UAB 24-17

-Although UAB entered the game on the team's most successful start, the Blazers entered the game facing adversity and left with even more. There was trouble in the locker-room as UAB's pass-happy offense was down to their third string QB. 2nd year coach JKyle is also under investigation after his accounted use of porn on a school-issued laptop crashed the university's internet servers.- Utah State led by at least 7 points for the entire 2nd half, but UAB left the field feeling as though they handed the game to USU. The Blazers, down 24-17, fumbled at the goal-line TWICE in the final 7 minutes of the game.

After taking a 17-10 lead just before half, the 3rd quarter went scoreless. Utah State scored on the second play of the game though when HB Billy McClain broke a 77 yard TD run to go up 24-10. The struggling UAB offense came up with a big play as WR Martin caught a short pass and turned it into 7 points. The next play would be a fumble by USU, giving the ball right back to UAB. UAB completed a pass inside the 5 on the following play, and with the WR grinding into the end-zone, the Blazers were already celebrating, but the ball popped out just outside the goalline and into the hands of the USU defense. USU took out some clock but were forced to punt, and UAB in 3 quick plays was down to the 2 yard line. Down 7 with 2 minutes to go, the Blazers put the ball in the hands of their go-to back Barber, but senior DE Kevin Scott hit him at the 1 and forced a fumble, once again recovered by the USU defense at the goal line. One first down later and the Aggies were able to run out the clock.

CB Clint Williams led the defense, with 2 INTS and a fumble recover. Player of the game goes to HB Billy McClain however, who had 22 carries for 202 yards and 2 TDs in just over 3 quarters after getting knocked out early in the 4th quarter.

Wild game and by far the cheesiest opponent I've ever played. I would have been better playing a random 10 year old on live. ASU went for it 4 times or 5 times on 4th, 3 in the first half outside their own 35. No huddle all game. QB making throws from sideline to sideline (on a line) while being hit. They converted a 4th and 2 with a pass to their offensive linemen who caught it over his shoulder like a true professional. Tip drill interceptions thrown by my QB. Shitty day. I was lucky to come out with a win in this one. The CPU has it out to get me this year.
