Welcome to ESPN's College Gameday, live from Eugene Oregon, the site of this week's Game of the Week between the #3 Stanford Cardinal and the #4 Oregon Ducks. I'm Chris Fowler and I'll be joined by Herbie and the Coach to discuss this week's news from around the world of college football as well as preview this week's great slate of action on the gridiron. We start here in Eugene, where Gameday is this week. Let's welcome Kate Upton with the latest news on this weeks Game of the Week between the Cardinal and the Ducks. "This Pac-12 matchup has been the deciding factor in the last few years. The winner of this one almost always goes on to play for the National Championship. With both teams again being ranked in the top 5, it may just decide the same thing this year. Stanford has been rolling opponents all season long, with another huge shutout against Washington last week 44-0. Their QB Ryan Wise is playing like a #1 pick in next years NFL draft, and has led the Cardinal in every game they have won this year. He will need to play well again in this game in order to keep the Cardinal undefeated. Oregon has been coasting through their matchups ever since the close game against Alabama in week 1. Their starters have been coming out usually by the early 3rd quarter if not halftime. This is in part because of their explosive offense led by QB Greg Lacey, who is playing at an unmatched level right now. He will have to continue his ways in this one, if the Ducks hope to keep the Autzen streak alive.
