Spayer419 with the emphatic Blake Griffin-esque PUTBACK SLAM to top off my major user-recruiting battles this year. "OLB Stewart Phillips Ohio State" Made the serious mistake of checking the update email in class, my reaction drew some strange looks lol

I must've been out of my mind if I think I could come in and cherry pick from some of the top talent in and around FL. Touche my friends. Touche.

Yeah it was one of those games where the CPU goes beast mode and everything works for them, luckily my guy came down with a bomb at the end of the game. Apparently Iowa didn't recruit speed in his secondary.

    #19 Michigan Holds Off Rutgers
    Improves to 4-2

QB Jon Huff had another stellar performance and the Michigan defense scored twice in the 4th to halt a comeback attempt by the Scarlet Knights. What started out as a low scoring contest in the 1st Half exploded into a shootout as both teams combined for 55 points in the final two quarters. The Wolverines took control early with two unanswered touchdowns to WR Matt Donaldson, and Rutgers was only able to add a short FG as time expired in the 1st Half to make it 14-3 heading into the locker room.
After back-to-back touchdowns to WR Andre Kaplan seemed to put the game out of reach in the 3rd, the Scarlet Knights wouldn't go away quietly scoring back-to-back touchdowns of their own to close the gap to 12 with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation. But Michigan wasn't about to let this one slip away as CB Zach Poland returned an INT 101 yards for a TD with under 2 minutes remaining. Rutgers would quickly and another touchdown, but amazingly Michigan WR Wade Munoz returned the ensuing onside kick for a TD. Adding insult to injury, freshman CB James Peterson got the first pick-six of his career with just :13 left.
Next, Michigan faces the hated Spartans of Michigan State.
    Rutgers
    QB Timothy Gonzales - 30/54, 428 YDS, 2 TD, 2 INT
HB Austin Thomas - 11 RUSH, 71 YDS, TD, 2 REC, 25 YDS
WR Stephen Beach - 7 REC, 178 YDS
CB Manny Yates - 3 TKLS, INT
    Michigan
QB Jon Huff - 14/23, 277 YDS, 4 TD, INT
HB Brian Weldon - 18 RUSH, 75 YDS
WR Andre Kaplan - 7 REC, 147 YDS, 2 TD
WR Matt Donaldson - 6 REC, 118 YDS, 2 TD
CB James Peterson - 3 TKLS, INT, TD

Yeah, they are usually a similar style Power run team. Just play run D like you did against me and you will give yourself a shot!

Thank goodness. It was really frustrating. I didn't want to keep throwing it deep, but you're guys had my short guys covered just the same. I look forward to one day having a wide receiver who can beat you're d backs.
