A win is a win right? That's what the Bears had to have been thinking to themselves when they escaped their week 7 matchup with the Lions. In a scrappy, tight 14-10 victory it took a grinding defensive display, sprinkled in with some pure luck to get the W.

In a wild play, the Bears were intercepted by Lion corner Chris Cook, only to have him fumble the ball, and a Bears offensive lineman was able to pick it up and run for the touchdown in which ended up being the deciding play of the game. Rookie Bears QB Corey Cabrerra continued to struggle going 13 of 19 with two picks, but RB Vick Ballard was able to put together a decent enough game with 83 yards on the ground to give the offense enough juice to win the game.

The Lions struggled all night on the offensive side of the ball, and couldn't get anything against a pesky Chicago defense. Couple that with two interceptions by their QB, and the unfortunate interception, fumble, TD series of events and you have a loss for the Lions.
