I'll write the full recap later tonight, this was a great game, well played KO.
The Buffalo Bills won an absolute thriller over the Patriots in OT in week 7 to tighten the AFC East race, improving to 4-2 while dropping New England to 4-3.
The game was a tale of two very different halves, the Bills controlling the first and the Pats coming back to dominate the second. Buffalo would lead 21-0 at halftime on the strength of their defense and the arm of rookie QB Tyler Dougherty, who threw TD passes to both WR Lee Evans and FB Corey McIntyre. Terrence McGee lead the way on defense with an interception returned for a TD, and everything was going the Bills way.
That all changed in the second half, as the Pats stormed back with a 21-0 half of their own, this time Tom Brady throwing 2 TD passes and Montario Hardesty rushing for another. Buffalo had a chance to win the game late, but after completing a pass to Randy Moss at the 10 yard line, they were unable to get up in time to spike the ball and couldn't prevent the game from going into OT.
The Pats won the coin toss but were quickly shut down and forced to punt by the Bills. From there, CJ Spiller took over, rushing for over 50 yards including the game winning TD on the drive, the Bills not wasting their second chance to get the win. The final score of 27-21 a good representation of how close the game was throughout.
Spiller was solid all game but stole the show in OT, finishing with 27 carries for 121 yards and the winning TD. The game ball goes to McGee however, as the CB turned it on to finish with 3 tackles, 2 interceptions including 1 returned for a TD and a further 4 passes deflected in the best individual performance by a Bill all season. For the Pats, LB Xavier Adibi was a force, totalling 3 tackles, 1 sack and 2 interceptions.
Great game KO, i wish they could all be this good and cheese free.
