    Week 7: Bills 34 Jets 7

Buffalo blasted out of the gates and stormed to a 31-0 2nd quarter lead and cruised to a 34-7 win over the Jets here in Week 7. Unfortunate special teams plays and turnovers by the Jets had them playing from behind early. The Bills opened the game with a 100 yard KO return for a TD by Roscoe Parrish to make it 7-0. 3 plays later the Jets threw an interception which was cashed in by a FB Dive by Mughelli for a 14-0 lead. Terrel Owens then caught a 17 yard TD pass from Trent Edwards to make it 21-0 at the end of the 1st Quarter. At half it became 31-0.

The Jets played well in the 2nd half and would have had me sweating it out if they would have played this well in the 1st half. The Jets moved the ball down the field but turned it over on downs deep in Bills territory a couple of times and held the Bills in check on offense. The Jets drove down the field 95 yards to score their only points with 46 seconds left on a Leron James 2 yard TD run off of left tackle.

After a failed onsides kick, the Bills sent Jankowski on the field just to try for a NFL record FG. It happened to only be a 62 yarder and it was good by about 3 yards! Thanks SD for not minding that. Good Luck the rest of the season.

    Buffalo improves to 3-3
    NYJ fall to 0-7
