Week 7's contest was a big game for both the Cards and the Brownies. The Cards were hoping to equal their win total form last year, and the Brownies come in hoping to end a 6 game losing streak.

The initial game was 21-0 at half, but had a sync disconnect and had to be replayed.

The new game started with very little action in the first except for a 23 yard pass to Garvin with 2 min left in the quarter to put the Cards up 7-0 to finish the quarter.

The second quarter saw even more struggle from the Browns offense as Rookie FS Baldwin gets the ball back with his 4 int of the season. The Cardinals drive down the field and punch the ball in on a 14 yard run by Beanie Wells 14-0 Cards. On the next drive, the Browns call an Offtackle to the right and Harrison finds a crease for a 73 yard scamper to get their first points on the board, 14-7 Cardinals. The Cardinals take the ball and begin driving down the field, until John Skelton throws his second int for the day and gives the Browns an opportunity to tie it up before the half but they are unable to get anything more than 3 points to close out the half 14-10 Cards.

    Halftime Cardinals 14 Browns 10

The Browns receive the kick and go 3 and out and punt it to rookie Bryant Patterson, who then takes the ball 71 yards for the TD, 21-10 Cardinals. The Browns receive the ball, and drive the ball down to the Cardinal 25 with some lucky breaks from the butterhanded Cardinal defenders, but are forced to kick a 42 yard FG, its good 21-13 Cardinals. On the next drive the Cardinals catch the Browns on a blitz and find D. Sproles on a screen for a 41 yard TD, 28-13 Cardinals.

    End of Third 28-13

The Browns get the ball back but are unable to move into scoring and end up punting. The Cardinals receive the punt drive down the field, and find T. Beckum for an 18 yard score early in the 4th, Cards are up 35-13. Browns are unable to move the ball and the Cards take over with about 4 min left, and run the clock out. After a big run Wells dives on the one yard line to avoid running up the score. 3 kneel downs close out the game.

    Final Cardinals 35 Browns 13

Beanie Wells was player of the game with 22 rushes for 162 yards and a TD. The Cardinals defense had a good game allowing no passing TDS, but fall short with over 5 dropped picks right in their hands. GG Greg, and Good Luck the rest of the way!
