    Auburn - 55
    Arkansas - 10

Utter domination by the Tigers, racking up over 500 yards of total offense and not turning the ball over once. The defensive unit played great as well, holding the Razorbacks to under 250 total yards and creating confusion in the backfield all game.

Kansas easily could have lost this game as the WVU receivers caught anything and everything, and despite allowing 38 points, it was without a doubt the defense for Kansas who won this game. They allowed 579 yards of total offense, but had 6 interceptions, 3 for scores, and one to the 2 yard line. Mike Cummings was inaccurate (13-32) and was sacked 8 times, but he didn't throw any interceptions and did just enough to win this game.

Kansas was down 22-3 but was able to score 3 times in the last 1:12 of the 2nd quarter to take a 24-22 lead. WVU then scored 16 straight to go up 38-24 and Kansas's offense looked bad. Kansas was able to put up the next 31 points of the game, thanks to the defense who came up with many huge picks.

Mike Cummings (QB)- 13-32 for 212 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
Brock Beglund (QB)- 3-5 for 51 yards
Anthony Pierson (HB)- 17 carries for 143 yards, 2 TD
Reggie Daniels (WR)- 4 receptions for 122 yards, TD
Willis Phillips (MLB)- 10 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 INT, TD
Tim Ward (FS)- 9 tackles, INT, TD
