New York gets their first home win of the season in big matchup against rival New England The New York Jets coming off of a losing slump the last few weeks needed a big win in their week 7 game against the Patriots. The Jets' new modified gameplan and big performances from their stars made it possible. Steven Hardin and Calvin Johnson is becoming one of the most feared QB/WR pairs in the league. Megatron was able to make big catches and rack up the YAC all game long. Johnson ended with nine receptions for 181 yards and three touchdowns. Hardin was able to find success to other targets as well completing passes to six different receivers going 17-27 with 281 yards, three touchdowns, and a lone pick on a hail mary at the end of the first half. Darren Sproles also contributed in his second game back after suffering a broken collarbone in the opener with 81 yards and the game-winning touchdown. The Jets' defense was very grateful that New England made a deal in the offseason to ship out Gronkowski. This helped the unit focus on stopping Hernandez and limiting the big plays. Although Brady was able to hook up for some long gains, the Jets were able to hold Brady to under 50% completion rate with no touchdown passes and a pick from Michael Boley. GG dablakpope. We always seem to get some close games together.
