Frisco's opponent TD-less streak ends on a QB Alex Smith fumble, as CB Chaney returns it for 6 in the 1st quarter.

After the fumble return, Philly was able to force a punt, which ended up being 3pts on a 60yd FG from K Swenson. The Niners' defense stepped up in the 2nd quarter, picking QB Kolb twice and forcing punts. Joe Nedney was able to connect on 3 FG's, while RB Frank Gore put one in from 6yds out. 16-10 Niners at the half.

On the 2nd play from scrimmage in the 3rd quarter, rookie RB Woods broke off a 84yd run for 6. SF's defense was stout in the third, not even allowing Philly's big-footed kicker into FG range. However in the 4th, Philly drove down the field, putting the ball in the air and converting some big 3rd downs. They were able to score the first offensive TD against the Niners D on a 10yd run by rookie RB Robinson. The two-point conversion was unsuccessful, and rookie RB Woods took another one in from 43yds out, sealing the game. Final score Niners 33 Eagles 19, GG.
