    Week 7: Rams 41 Ravens 23

The St. Louis Rams get over the .500 mark for the first time this season with an impressive 41-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Rams mixed it well on offense and played some stout defense to hand the Ravens their 5th consecutive loss after opening the season 2-0. Great Game by Weblink who kept his team in the game with some fantastic blitzes against the pass and a solid consistent power running game. Here is a quick summary of how this game turned out.

The Rams received the opening kickoff and they wouldn't hold the possession long. The Ravens well-timed blitz hit Cassell and Will Barkley picked it off and returned the interception 40 yards for a TD and that made the score 7-0 Ravens just 57 seconds into the game. The Rams took the next possession down the field and scored on 1 yard Mike Karney dive and tied the score at 7-7. After a few changes of possession, the Rams put together another scoring drive when Matt Cassell ran it in from 6 yards out on 3rd and Goal to make the score 14-7 Rams with 3:22 to play in the 1st half. After a Ravens punt, the Rams were able to drive down and kick a FG as time expired to make the halftime score 17-7 Rams.

    3rd Quarter:

Rams put together a TD drive once again and score on a 3 yd Steven Jackson TD Run to make the score 24-7.

Ravens then have a good drive of their own but stalled and settled for a 45 yard FG to make the score 24-10 at the end of the 3rd.

    4th Quarter:

A regular game in the OMFL suddenly got wild in the last 3:06. I don't know why we just seemed to go nuts all of a sudden. After a Josh Brown FG by the Rams to extend the lead to 27-10 with 3:06 to go, the Rams got an interception and a Joseph Addai 16 yd TD run to make the score 34-10 with 2:08 to go. Ravens come right back and hit Lance Moore down the seem for a 41 yd TD pass with a missed 2 pt conversion to make it 34-16 with 1:26 left. After a failed onsides kick, the Rams ran it 3 times and punted to the Ravens 1. Two plays later Randall Gay picks it off at the 2 yard line and walks in for a 41-16 lead with 52 seconds left. Ravens fly right back down and its Lance Moore with a 68 yard TD pass with 18 seconds left on some blown user coverage to make the score your final 41-23.
