Recruit of the WeekJorge Irvin - HBWhat a heated recruiting battle between powerhouses Clemson, Alabama and Ohio State. The Tigers luckily came out on top. Irvin figures to be a playmaker from the minute he steps onto campus. He may very well be the fastest kid coming out of high school but what sets him apart is his Acceleration, Agility and Elusiveness. Opposing ACC defensive coordinators better get ready for many sleepless nights when the Clemson Tigers are their upcoming opponent. Coach Bill Flo will surely have a ton of different looks for Irvin as he has the look of a sure fire All-American. Sleeper RecruitLarue Brown - QBWe know Brown is a 4* Kid and rated as the 59th best prospect in the country but we think he has all the skills to be a 5* player. He has average speed but he makes up for that with a very good and accurate arm. We imagine Coach Maslerboros will find him to be a very capable QB during his 4 years in Tuscaloosa. Brown has the makeup to be playing on Sundays down the roadOverrated RecruitLawrence Robinson - ATHRobinson is projected to play linebacker at the next level and although that was surprisingly a huge need for the Nittany Lions, fans may have to wait a while for this kid to develop. Lawrence is just an average tackler and his coverage skills really have yet to develop. A redshirt and a couple years of grooming are needed for this kid. User Recruiting Battle of the WeekAdam Griffin - HB OR LSU and Michigan are pretty much deadlocked for the 6th overall propect in this year's class. With both teams already having their visits, we think LSU will prevail but we're sure Michigan will not go down without a fight. Griffin is a bruising back with surprisingly good speed. He would be perfect for the tough, physical Big-10 but would also fit in nicely in the SEC. Whoever lands this kid will be getting one hell of a player.
